The other day my 12 year old, Johnny had a Hustler magazine in his room. Now I wasn't too stressed out until I found a box of videos in his closet. He was outside playing basketball while I was looking into his room. I sucker punched him and laid him down on the floor when he got back. We have never allowed this kind of behaviour in the family and won't start to. I'm thinking of a legitimate punishment that will teach him to never watch porn or obtain it again. So far my thoughts are beating him with a hot frying pan or taking him to the basement and getting the baseball bat or maybe even the crowbar involved. How should I discipline him?

My mother often says hurtful things to me and then when I ask her if she meant it, she says she didn't. I want to know the exact significance of saying "I didn't meant it"...please help me. Any answers to this question will be greatly appraciated. Thankyou.

Im so devastated and sad. My daughter who is 3 gave me a bracelet. It was such a beautiful bracelet mostly because it came from her. Well i decided that i would wear it the other day .Well i was wearing it and it slipped off somewhere at the naval hospital aboard camp pendleton but i didnt notice until we got home..Im so sad Im just hoping that somebody will find it and turn it in.aFTER i noticed that i wasnt wearing it , i searched for it here at my home and even went back to the naval hospital to look for it.Im so sad and depressed. What do i do?Do i keep looking for it or just forget about it.I always think about it and feel down. I dont want to give up looking for it but i dont know if i will really ever see it again.How do i put it out of my mind? mAN I LOVED THAT bracelet.Has this ever happened to anyone?

My daughter 17 borrowed my credit card this morning to get gas. I was looking for it all day and thought I had lost it. She left for work at 6.50 a.m this morning and said she didn't want to wake me!! I called her on her cellphone this evening and asked if she had my credit card and she said yes. She came straight home with it but I went ballistic, my husband calmed me down. What are your opinions of this matter. I am really upset.

I was changing my little sisters diaper cleaning up her girly parts when it moved, I couldnt stop thinking about doing things to her... I touched her a little and she giggled but I heard my mom coming so I quickly stopped...
Should I just wait untill shes older or is it ok now?

I have great parents but my dad has changed a lot since I was little, but before that when my brother was born and he was like three or so my dad would do a lot of things to him like push him down the stairs on purpose and choke him on a wall, my dad used to be so nice to me, and now he's not the same as before. I'm 14 and I'm a girl, I'm getting really depressed, and I don't know what to do, none of my parent's notice only when my brother feels down they notice. I'm really hurt and sometimes my heart feels like it wants to explode, My aunt is taking my grandma and my cousin to go out for breakfast, and my moms going to pennsylvania, and my brother to a party, leaving me alone at home, I'm always left out. My dad went to california, and I feel alone, all the time, I tried talking to a friend and it doesn't help me and I don;t know what to do. I used to cut myself but I stopped, and it just hurts a lot I don't know what to do I feel so down all the time. My best friend betrayed me

I have a 15 yr old daughter who is very smart, somewhat active plays softball in the high school band plays bass guitar and percussion. Seems to be a good gir. Problem is she is so backwards. She doesn't like to talk on the phone, stay with friends, have friends over, hang out with friends, or any interest in boys. She loves music, dresses goth somewhat, but doesn't wear makeup or cares how she looks most of the time. I have tried all I know at times banging my head against the wall. I had to force her to take drivers ed and to practice driving. She seems content on just being at home with us and not going to have fun and enjoy herself as a teenager. She is pretty and would be so much more if she would take an interest in herself...I don't push too hard I don't want to make her feel bad...but do you think it is depression or just too shy or what?? I was shy at that age but I was into boys and friends and all the normal stuff....help!!!! Thanks!

If dad doesn't recognize his girl is growing up, so he tends to treat her the same as her little brother (pop her on the butt, snap the elastic of her shorts, etc.)
I don't want to imply that he is being sexual with her, It just seems she is a little to old for that, and her mother does not touch her in "those" areas. She is old enough to be very sensitive in the new-breast area, but still young. She hasn;t shown emotional discomfort as she is just goofing with dad and he with her.
Should he be approached about this and if so how.

I honestly don't feel pretty, also that my parents love my sister more because she is smarter, and skinnier, and prettier, and all around better. I am the older one, yet I constantly feel inferior.

I live in up state ny and i took my ex-boyfriend to family court my ex- told the judge that he was gonna get full custody . Would a judge let him have full custody ? My 9-year-old son has been using a lying scheme to receive certain items that his friends have. I’ll usually buy the merchandise with his allowance for Internet purchases. However when I set a limit with his allowance, he’ll say that certain celebrities love the same things. He uses this scheme with me, his mother, and his friends that buy merchandise for him. I complained and I tried to restrict his allowance to none, but it continues with people outside of our family. For instance I have a crush on certain female celebrities like Eva Longoria. On one evening he explained to me that Eva loves to play World Tour Soccer, a video game, and she loves to read Candy Lane Craze, a children’s novel. Needless to say his friends have these items, however my limit was already established before the Eva episode. My wife loves American Idol, and he tries to use Paula and Simon for his personal benefit. What can we do to stop this troubling phase in his life?

Is anyone not close with their mother? IF so how do you deal with it? Me and my mother have been clashing since as long as I can remember. She is always saying things that I think are hurtful/innapropiate to me, and regardless of what I say-it doesn't seem to phase her. It hurts when I see friends being able to talk to their moms, or are glad to see/be around their moms, when I cant even stand to be in the same room with her.

Currently I am working 2 jobs and just can't seem to pay what bills I have (they aren't that great maybe 1,200 a month). The price of gas is sucking me dry and getting to work is an hour drive. (I live in God's arm pit) SO I have to drive. I am just wondering if there is help out there other than sucking the welfare system or asking parents for help. I live in a trailer park with this mean girl.
She hit my 4 yr old boy with a chair.
I went and had the cops call and took pic's
of what she did. The father said my 4 yr old should of know better.
If it was a 8 yr old that hit your 4 yr old what would you of done?
