Sorry to hear about your dad; you didn't say how old you are or he is. The only reason I ask is because different age groups will recover at different rates.
I sympathize with you since my mother just had a triple by-pass over the memorial day weekend this year. She is 76 years old and all of us were really worried that she would not make it through. All of us are grown and between 42-58 and it was hard on the whole family.
Medical treatment today is really advanced and his doctors will care for him well. Assuming he is in a good age group his chances are really good; even if he's as old as my Mom he has very good chances of recovering. Your stress is unfortunately, very normal for this but you should really try to eat and sleep as much as you can to keep your strength up; you need it. Small cat naps are good to refresh you, if you are a religious person, pray to your faith for inner peace stay in close contact with his doctors and ask questions...lots of them! and most importantly as soon as possible tell your dad how much you love him if you haven't in a long time....if your hospital allows it; stay with him and his room and touch his hands, arms forehead and whisper to him if he is not alert....anything to let him know you are close by!
wish you all the luck

Sorry to hear about your dad. It is very possible for him to recuperate completely if they get him into therapy. The age of your dad will determine his recovery. You must really be worried about him if you can't eat or sleep. Just pray real hard for him. He will not leave you unless it is his time to go. I will remember him in my prayers also. Best of luck to you. Try to think positive about his situation and you will calm down emotionally.

I am sorry to hear about your dad. I will keep you all in prayer.

Keep in mind when your dad is released from the hospital he is going to need you and your family to take care of him. So be strong and take care of yourself so that you can do that. It will benefit him seeing you strong and it will reassure him that he will be cared for.

Take care, hon.

Sorry to hear that. The brighter side is that it was minor and he has a good chance at recovery. My prayers are with you and your family.
