My parents got into a big fight over my sister because she's wasting gas and needs to fill up her car every other day.and my dad wants her to get more money to fill it up and my mom says it doesnt matter how much u put into it, its just the thought that u have a lot of gas, u'll go everywhere with it. Then they start screaming and i got no idea where my dad is. My mom took me and my sister upstairs and she starts screaming telling my sister to fill up her gas to the max because ur stinky father thinks that im controlling u both.she's like dont i give u enough money to spend on whatever u want?then i left the room and sat outside..and when my sister left, my mom came out and asked me a question and i kept saying i dont know because i dont want to get involved in this sh*t. then she started crying saying "am i talking to the wall,am i not a good enough mother that u guys treat me like a jerk.ur father is a nice guy.i should just leave this house. Then she slammed the door. what do i do?

I'm behind on my car payment and the car company called my folks house instead of mine. My mother is not happy. I've already may arrangement s to pay off the past due amount, but my mom called me this morning demanding that Jay, my boyfriend, and I go over to their House tonight to disccuss finances. I reallly don't want to and I KNOW Jay would rather lick a toilet seat than go. How do I respect my parents and be a "grown up" at the same time? I know I frigged up by not having the payment done on time but what do I tell my parents? ( If it matteres I'm 23 and Jay is 29)

i told my husband about this site. i told him that i asked a question if i am an irresponsible mom and housewife and i told him the answers. he just nod. now, i brought him back again the issue, i told him that i need a break. i need to have time for myself too. im really tired. he just answered, "Well, you are not yet ready to be a mom then". I was really hurt. i may not be ready but i did all the responsibilities as much as possible to cater all the baby needs, his needs and my step kids need. I did the feeding, the cooking, the cleaning. good for his ex-wife, at that time he can still afford hiring a babysitter and maid to clean up their mess. but now, we cant afford it - i did the babysitting and maid's role. i need help! what will i do? i think i cant have a break after all. im really tired and fed up.i dont mind doing it - i love serving them but sometimes i just need to relax and enjoy without thinking anything.is that bad?am i not really ready to become a mom?

My ex and I have been split up for 3 weeks,we have a son whom he has regular contact with and makes adequate financial provision for,neither of us want to get back with each other,neither of us did anything bad or wrong to each other just don't get along.I'm being treated for depression(partly related to sad sorry state of previous relationship)ex is acting like the world is peachy,nothing has changed and its no big deal.Can't get him to understand or to accept any responsibility for break down of relationship,he still lives in its all your fault land.Am trying to move on and am being treated for depression have re decorated bedroom,looking into part time college course etc what do I do now?

I made a mistake, was unfair with my 14 yo boy and apologized. He had enough reasons to be very resentful, but, though he said nothing, when I apologized he gave me a big hug. I'm not good at dealing with emotions, but I felt tears were about to roll down on my face and I couldn't avoid. Then I pretended someone was calling me my cell phone to talk about someting really important, said just a minute, son, and moved away until I could control my tears. But I'm no actor and even a 2 year old would see I was pretending, which made me even more embarrassed. My son looked at me, smiled, shaked his head, tapped my shoulder, said by dad,and ran to school, he was a bit late (my fault). He was laughing. I had to take a plane and will see my boy again Wednesday. I didnt want to leave before making up with him

I'm really embarrassed, dont know what I'll tell him when I come back. Shoulds I call him to say something? What? He knows I'm not a so strong man

We have been married 12 years with 3 children. Our oldest just started high schol at a IB high school she as been waiting to get in since 4th grade.Our second just started middle school and we have a 3 year old. Both of our families live nearby and my children were born here. They are also extremely involved in a performing group that they have been in since they were 5 years old. We have asked the children(older two) and they absolutely do not want to move. I cannot bring myself to do that to them. They are straight a students and have been great kids! The money would be nice as we have always struggled, but I knw the cost of living is very high there as well...Florida versus DC. Advise please.
