I know how you feel, sometimes there is a few people I wanna chase around my backyard with a chainsaw and there is a few tips I learnt!
1. Make sure you turn the chainsaw on!
2. Try not to hit the dog!
3. Make sure you clean up the mess (blood n guts etc.)!
4. When the police come knocking on the front door, chase them around the backyard with a chainsaw and that will teach them to knock on the front door!

I would suggest you help him clean it. Make it a day to get him organized. Dont make it adverserial. Make it friendly and fun and still achieve everyone's objectives. Show him how to clean up, help him, make it a bonding experience and he will on his own start doing it (it may take him a while, but little by little he will start appreciating a clean room)
I found with my son, when I let him make his own decisions but I support him when he decides, he ends up doing the right thing. Sometimes he tests me by deciding the opposite of what I would want and I simply dont react.
Over-reacting negatively is giving him attention.

Probably not a good idea. If he's not keeping his room clean, I suggest clearing it out. Bed and all. Make him earn his stuff back. It worked for my son!

LMAO. I sometimes think stuff like that would help the kids. If he gets allowance, cut it off if he does not clean.
