I am 13 and i think now i have made up my mind.I just dont find women attractive, and i would rather be with a man.

telling your parents would take alot of stress off you and you could be yourself around them. all parents should understand. don't hide who you are.

Wow, that is such a toughie. Usually one parent will accept, while the other just can't.
First you need to understand their true attitude towards Gays. Needs a bit of discreet probing by you.
Don't forget, they may have a liberal attitude to gays in general, but not necessarily the same understanding for their honoured son.
Depending on the outcome, you can either tell them with ease or hold back.
In any case you are likely to get the usual response, like you are too young to know what you want blah blah. If you are really unlucky you get something read out of the bible and sent to the next priest to exercise the demon out you. LOL
Personally,I would not make a big deal out of it right now. Just hang back,test their reaction to Gay's in general. In any case I would still hold back before doing the whole coming OUT thing.
Lets stay cool.
In the meantime enjoy being with other gay guys and have fun.

There are probably some gay community websites that would offer better advice than we do here.
Maybe it's a good idea to tell your parents soon, since they will probably not be so shocked when you're only 13 since many teenagers at some stage or another wonder if they are homosexual. On the other hand, if you're afraid your parents will get completely nuts and try everything to turn you heterosexual, maybe a little tough ....
I really don't know, since I don't know you and your parents. I just whish you good luck with whatever way you choses.

As a gay man myself, I am not totally convinced that you are gay (I know that's of no importance to you, but I thought I would offer my view anyway!)
Don't get me wrong, you may well be but don't you think 13 is just a little young to be announcing to the world that you know you are gay? You could still be going through a lot of change and its natural to be attracted to same sex people at your age. I came out quite late in life only to be told by just about everyone I told, "oh I've known that for years!"

Some of these people are right, during adolescence you are supposed to be confused at this stage in life but.... if you do in fact know that you are gay (because some people know well before 13) you should really tell your parents now, just ignore all of these people who are telling you that you should wait, and you should be with a girl... if you know what you want, then you know what you want! Now, my aunt and uncle found out about my cousin because they found gay porn on his comp.... make sure that isnt the way they find out plz.... i agree with sitting down and talking to them both at once and letting them know you have been struggling with this and you have come to the conclusion that you are gay. Simple as that.... err... you know what i mean.

Can't you wait until your a little older. Your a bit too young for relationships just yet. A lot of people feel that they might be gay at some point in adolescence ( I'm not saying that your straight) but it may just be a phase so why put yourself through the hassle. If your already dating someone and know for sure your gay then yes.

At this age you've still got time to really know if you are gay. No one is really expecting any such information one way or another from you at your age. What's the rush ? just because you've given it some thought it needn't be the trigger to come out. If you want a relationship or to become sexually active then you'll need to consider your next move. Your family would take it better from you rather than finding out by chance!!

well when i was 13 i felt like that. i did have butt fux with guys and i liked it.
since then i do still look at gay porn but i am into women as well.
time changes. see how it goes. i got a girlfriend and a baby nearly so just wait a while. u hv probably just started puberty and you will feel like that.
i am nearly 15 now and i'm still not 100% sure.
i could be straight or bi.

you should wait even though people say they new thery were gay at 5 and 10 years old. you should wait because you have never been with a woman before. being could change you mind, but if this does not work then i guess you need to tell. BUt whan you are ready to have sex, you should be with someone your age first. when you become intimate, make sure you use protection.

You ARE 13 - there is no need to go rushing to tell mom and pop anything - you are new to the world of dating (if in fact you've even dated at all yet). It is possible that you are gay - it is also possible that you are not - why not wait until you are very sure - and older!
