I have 2, 11 and 2 yrold. we have one income and decided on a used car (luckily our 2004 Durango was a rental with 30k miles-all highway, so it got detailed quite often). we are also military, and don't know where we'll be in the next few years. it's not good on mileage, but we use it about every other day. to answer the question, some credit unions have check lists re: buying new/used. we research for 6 mo. before we were ready. and, i was not getting a mini van. we also got the carfax report, which i highly recommend, but some car dealers will give the report for free.

I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. LOVE IT!! It is expensive on gas, (about $75 to fill the tank), but there's tons of room for everyone and everything. Oh, and it's safe, too. I got mine used with 26K miles on it and paid $27,000. It was a great deal because it was and still is like brand new. When this one dies, I will be buying a new one.

Haha, I do, yet no longer in a foul way... my family participants's minivan has tinted domicile windows, so we call it the 'creeper van' and chortle about that. And, a number of my acquaintances who were a brother and sister and in a band with 2 of their acquaintances used their moms and dads van, which changed into dubbed the 'ninja van' (lengthy and humorous tale concerning operating at a summer season camp) to cart around the band, kit, and any acquaintances who were keen to be 'roadies' to get into the teach for loose. And did you comprehend precisely what number of human beings can better healthful right into a minivan? so a techniques, a number of my acquaintances' record is 21 in a large previous GM or Chevy van... and also you'll placed an complete stereo gadget into the minivan, then park it sideways at thechronic-in and pull out the bench seats to sit down on and set up the stereo contained in the open area door and it really is the perfect movie-staring at adventure EVER (till the battery dies and also you've were given to get someone to bounce-start up the precedence, LOL). basically, I <3 minivans, highly the incredibly spacious previous-college ones. certain, you gained't look all 'cool' and also you will get laughed at by ability of the human beings on the membership, yet they are the perfect for piling a load of acquaintances in for a reliable time! Plus, in case you canchronic a minivan, you canchronic something short of a tractor-trailer. My brother grew up making use of my moms and dads' minivan, and now he's in college and making use of an ambulance reason he's had significantly better adventure with 'tremendous automobiles' than lots of any human beings on the crew.
