The other day my 12 year old, Johnny had a Hustler magazine in his room. Now I wasn't too stressed out until I found a box of videos in his closet. He was outside playing basketball while I was looking into his room. I sucker punched him and laid him down on the floor when he got back. We have never allowed this kind of behaviour in the family and won't start to. I'm thinking of a legitimate punishment that will teach him to never watch porn or obtain it again. So far my thoughts are beating him with a hot frying pan or taking him to the basement and getting the baseball bat or maybe even the crowbar involved. How should I discipline him?

Well I've made up my decision, I called my friend James and he believes a punishment of pain is necessary. I'm going to take him to the basement right now for the baseball bat, the only way kids will learn is with blue and black.

Whoa! calm down. Where did he get the pornos? I mean, if he seen them in your room and that is where he got them then you made it available for him to see so there for you are both at fault. Besides that he is 12 years old and curious about sex. Maybe it is time for a sex talk? Don't punish him for being curious. It's normal.

Well, he's a boy. So naturally, he's going to watch porn. Boys of this generation do that. I know. We're screwed up. -_- Corporal punishment probably isn't a good idea, because he would be being BEATEN for something that he can't help. He can't help that's he's going through puberty. If you're going to punish him, embarass the bejeezus out of him. Every time a friend comes over, ESPECIALLY a girl, confront him about the porn. Magazine in hand. She will laugh, uncontrollably. He will be so embarassed. It will work better if you do it multiple times. Maybe if he gets angry enough, he'll burn all of the tapes. Hope this helps!

Well the first thing you have to do is not abuse the child. You have obviously already done something that is wrong. The best approach is to sit down and have a serious talk with him about it, then have him destroy the porn in front of you. You should also talk about what will happen the next time you find porn in his room and for goodness sake tell him you are sorry you hit him like that.

I like the pan idea. Coming from a kid that hurts alot. Not that I've ever done anything like that. Or get a yard stick and take away things like tv and pc. That's what my mom does and she drags me around everywhere so i won't sneak.

WOw! Dont do that! thats how hate will begin!! Calm talking! he will listen! Doctors say that kids will not listen if you yell, they only hear the screaming but nothing catches in his head. But just talk to him! why is it bad to watch porn, they will listen! tell him he can do it when they get older. Kids likes to rejects rules and break the law!

omg don't beat him to death or beat him ! at all bc thats not right !! i think that u shoudl just ground him for the longest time and take things aways from him and make him clean the house and do chores all day insead of hanging out with friends and all that stuff

not with corporal punnishment. You son is 12, he is being curious. Have you tried sitting him down and explaining why you don't like it? That is one idea...or you can make him watch a marathon of porn...that would make him uncomfortable...beating him is not the answer

My thought is this no punishment. And another thought just came my way. I am reporting you for abuse! Your behaviour is abhorrent! Masturbation is natural everyone does it even you.
