i have a sister in law that happens to be beautiful, works at a clothing store so has the best clothes and the best taste. but when i am around her i feel less than her because of it, what do you think can be done about this. Ps she can be a real b**ch when she wants to be and that is one thing i am glad im not.

What is the funniest comment your child ever said.? I have a five yr. old, first child, and she does not believe in holding her tongue. It has gotten so bad that we have to warn her not to talk until we get out of stores. At first I thought it was funny, but now she just talks to much.

For example, we were in the store and a lady next to us bend over to get snacks and my "5 yr. old" says, "Mom why everyone have fat behinds? Then she goes she REALLY have a fat behind." My mom believes she has a older person spirit. Tell me about your wonderful children. Is this a phase she will grow out of?

I am a partially handicapped working woman with 2 chldren. 19 yrs. old son doesn't respect bt 15 yrs. old daughter is my strength. Alcholic husband keeps my ATM (salary) card. At times I feel like running away from the world, putting an end to all my worries. Looking no hope except my daughter but she has also been suffering too much with activities & behaviour of both of them. Sometimes I want to go to such a place where nobody can search us. I am getting frustrated day by day with the behaviour of my son. Husband turns a blind eye even though he does not earn enough to take care of us.
Is there anyone who can honestly tell me what should I do to myself cool & calm bcoz I feel like going to be mad. I live in South Delhi.
May be someone show me the right path.

Ok I have never really gotten along with my adopted mother. Throughout my teenage years she always said "you have so much potential to be something" but then whatever I thought would be a good career choice, she disapproved of it. I rebelled alot in high school but I wasn't into drugs or drinking ....I was pretty much straight. I did get pregnant when I was 17...got married when I was 18...and am now separated. She's helped me out financially but it always comes with a lot of guilt that she makes me feel. My adopted grandmother is sick now (95 yrs old) and I take care of her in the morning so my mom can work. Before my ex left I took out a loan against my car so I could pay some bills that he owed. I figured I would pay it back cuz my mom was giving me $100 a week to help me out. But then she decided that she was going to take a month off of work....so now I'm basically screwed....point is...she told me today she's not gonna help me anymore. Am I wrong to be upset?

Only 1000 characters to work with? Well shoot! Short version..i have 2 kids with my husband of 6 years. My parents rental home was up for grabs so we took it due to being in a black hole of finances. They keep treating us like children, more I then he (they are my parents) & every time I try and explain that thats how im feeling-they come up with some arguement to make me/us feel like **** for not respecting them, which is so far from the truth it sickens me. Few times it's been " we wont baby sit unlless the house is clean, or the lawn is mowed". What am I 13? (im 26) I understand totally their position in our lives, but as adults with one another, there has GOT to be some dang comprimise and understanding! A new issue has come up, that because they undermine my parenting while at their house, my kids see it as gamma and grampa dont have to listen to mommy and daddy so why do we? When we approached the issue, they were so offended, and wont talk to us now. (continue to "details")

It been confusing.
My baby father isnt working a lot right now.
Layoffs.
So now hes going to school full time.
He plans on completing a degree in a year or two.
He lives in Michigan I live in Texas.
How would I work out child support?
How much will i recieve from him?
Do I have to file a claim to try and get child support?
Ive heard its based on the fathers income.
Now what if he operates a small business on the side?
We only have one child together and a lot of people are saying I will get pretty much half of everything he makes.
Is that true?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been dating my bf for 2 yrs and he proposed! Hooray! Well his family who knew he was going to propose a month before he actually did, who was ok w/me before now will not get over the fact that i had a previous relationship a year before I met him where I lived with the guy (his sister found out from a friend). I told my fiance my past on the 1st date and have never kept secrets. He knew it was a mistake of mine and everyone has a past shameful as it is or not. I love him to death but I dont want the hatred of his family as a burden for the rest of our lives because he is close to his family and I don't want any fueds because of me. I love his family but they wont give me the chance to show how much I love him and want to be w/him and take care of him for the rest of our lives. It breaks my heart, all I do is cry...the worst thing about it is that now we aren't going to have the wedding we wanted in a church or reception because his family wont show and would just break my heart.

my mama called me and said my little baby brother was shot. The hospital didn't know if he would live cause he wasn't breathing on his own. It's been almost five or six days and they still haven't contacted us. He was shot mby rival gang members, I tried calling the hospital but they wouldn't tell me. Should I go down there with my siblings and demand to know if my baby brother is dead. If he did wouldn't they of told us so we could plan a funeral for him. He is only 14 years old. He is to young. He had plans to go to collage and finish highschool. What should I do?
