Be there for your child when they need someone to talk to, and not only give them advice, but listen to what they have to say also. Don't criticize your child about everything, and try to give them there own space to grow and be them. Let them hang out with their friends, and experience being a child/teenager. Just do what you think is right, and what is best for your child, and let them know that you are doing is whats best for them. Make sure you tell them that you LOVE them EVERY SINGLE CHANCE THAT YOU GET, and mean it, and hug them, and shower them with kisses. And make sure that you save time out of your week just for the 2 or how every many there are to go to the park have a picnic or play basketball something to where you all enjoy your times together and look forward to them when you know they are coming up. And make sure that you PRAY all day everyday because nothing is too much for God and he never put more on you than you can bare. Remember that! ;)

Make time for all your kids. And just sit down and listen to them. Don't worry about the house being messing, things that need done, and what ever else. When they want you to sit down and play with them, do it. Nothing in life is more important then spending time with your children. I have 7 and make time for each one of them. Just me and them for a little while each day.
There is no book to tell you how to be a good mother. Being a mother, you know what to do and not to do to become a Good Mother.

always take time to be with them when they are small, always take time to listen to them as they grow up. and be patient with them always. Don't trust people you really don't know to take care of them, ever. Grandmothers are the best. My mother was the only one that watched our two adopted babies. Our kids have no idea what a babysitter or nanny is, and never will. Remember, the best thing you can give your child is your time.

Kids don't come with instruction manuals and it is very hard at times we think we are doing every thing wrong and there are days where things go right it is hard but as long as you tell them every day they are loved and special and that your always there for them you are doing your best.see most mums think that having Fancy things is a way to show your love but as long as your kids have a roof over there heads and a mummy that loves them very much you are doing great. DONT EVER DOUBT YOURSELF!!!

I think to be a good mother you must listen to your children. Teach them responsibility and humility. Let them be who they are. Always know what they are doing and who they are with. Trust them. Love them. Hold them. Not only should you tell them you love them, but SHOW them you love them. Let your children be part of family discussions and decisions. Take care of them. Keep them feed, clean, and healthy. Sing to them.....dance with them. Be a friend when they need a friend, Be a mom when they need guidance.

treat the little fellers like they have feelings too, put your boundaries in place but let them know your job is being their mother and you take that seriously let them know who you are your feelings(and not just the bad ones) tell them everyday how much you enjoy them and love them and be honest when they ask weird questions, make them cry only when you tell them how deeply you care about them
