My husband and I lived away from my family for 15 years and moved back a year ago. I'm still having problems connecting with them. We've never been extremly close. I just don't know how to connect with them. Any advice?

Some people say they believe parents take kid out of store or restaturant if they throw fits because they don't want to bother others surrounding them.

So I'm wondering what go through your mind if you see parents take their kid out of store or restaturant because the kid throw fits? What do you perfer them to do?

I'm deaf so I can't hear them throw fits, however my eyes is very easily distracted by anything out of place. So when I see parents with kid who throw fit, I usually have to hold back a small chuckle. However it don't really bother me if parents do something to teach kid to not throw fits because I understand that sometime kid misbehave. However it really get on my nerve if parents cave in and give kid what they want or take them out of store because then I will feel like "gee I really gotta to deal with those type of brat in future because their parents are too much of a santa claus to do it?"

I often notice that when kids throw a tantrum in store or restaturant, the parents tend to pick up the kid and rush out of store or give the kid whatever they want. Why do they do that if it will make their kids really spoiled?

If I was a parent and my kid even dare to do that in public place, he/she will get serious spanking and put in cart and ignored for rest of shopping trip. but that is at least how I see it, but I'm curious about other opinions.

It is now 3:30 am here and my daughter (15) just went to bed. Had a real heart to heart confession session. I hugged her, she hugged me. We told things we never normally would have. She understands I screwed up and I don't want the same for her. How do you talk to your kids?

I am 26 years old, my husband is 30, and MY daughter is 6. We used to live with my mother while my daughter was a baby and shortly after we got married. We moved into our own place 3 years ago, been married almost 5. My mother still lives close to us and often watched my daughter while my husband and I worked midnights. A couple weeks ago my husband and mother got into a big fight while I was at work in front of my daughter. Now we are using a babysitter (something I said I would never do).
This is what I was told happened: My mother walked into my apartment to get my daughter up for day camp. My husband knew this was going to happen, as he had worked an afternoon the day before and I was afraid that he would over sleep. My husband was up when my mother walked in, and said something along the line of him needing to get his a$$ up in the morning. He then got mad and told her to get the hell out of his house and stop bossing him around.

I was raised in a home where homosexuals, bisexuals, and transsexual, were hated extremely. I told them three years ago when I was 15 that I liked guys instead of girls.

They said (and still say) I only do because I am an evil child, and did so to disobey them.

I am still upsetting them because I still like guys instead... but it is a part of who I am... I guess...

dear little baby boy

just four days ago your first birthday had past
and i still can't believe how the year had went so fast

i remember when i first held you and looked into your eyes
i new then that i could have cryed

because you looked so beauitful from head to toe
and from that day on i vowed i could never let you go

the months they flew by quickly and than you said dad
and even though i was happy it kind of made me sad

when you started crawling i couldnt help but smile with glee
because i was just so happy that you belong to me

and when you took your first steps i smiled even more
you took your first three steps and than fell softly on the floor

i hope when you grow you know how much i care
and that always in your life i will be there..

if you need a helping hand just call out my name
no matter what it is i will love you just the same

BE HONEST PLEASE I CAN TAKE THE TRUTH THANKS

He hits me in the head and practically knocks me out and i try fighting back but he jsut gets madder and madder so its hard to hit him back. I have called the cops on him before but they said if there are no marks or evidence of him doing it then they cant do anything about it and for some reason, no matter how hard i get hit, i never get bruised up!!!.. My mom and brother IWLL NOT stick up for me either so that dont help. What can i do?????

He has nowhere to go after August 3, 2006. He has been drinking for over 30+ years. We recently sent him to rehab but because of insurance he could only stay two weeks. Two weeks cant help anyone. He started drinking within days of getting out. He can not come live with us b/c of kids. I have tried to find him a place and we know he wont pay his bills. We want to have him committed to a mental hospital but you have to get a lawyer and we dont have the money. He will not take a bath and he is very weak. He is 65 years old also. If we dont find him a place he will live in the woods and I know he wont survive in this heat. He has been homeless before. But he is getting older. I just need to know what else to do. He wont go to a nursing home or the VA. Any suggestion? Please e-mail me or let me know! Thanks very much

Now, answer the following question:
How did you meet your mate? What attracted you to them?

My boyfriend has the laziest most worthless kids I have ever met. They move in and out of his house like a revolving door. His son is an alcoholic with no drivers license and his daughter is lazy. She is married and uses the emergency room as a doctors office, always going in for this that and the other. She cant go to the doctor like the rest of us. She is the queen of filth. Never does the dishes or cleans house & is always running around in the car shopping Her dad gave her a credit card to help her out and she maxed it out and let it go to collections, then asked him for a loan. He had no idea it had gone to collections and he had to bargain to pay it off. Her husband is a drunk and they moved in with their kids because they cannot pay their bills. Her husband had an excellent job working for Catipillar and just quit out of the blue. Should I say what is on my mind or hold my breath. I adore him heart and soul, but these kids are a mess. It kills me to watch this **** go on.
