i am single mother and lately it is been really hard. my son stays with my mother and i will be giving birth to another son next month. i live with my sister until i find me a place of my own, but i live in chicago so i haven't been very lucky finding a place due to me only getting 603.00 a month. my question is do anyone know of any resources they i can give me to look up on the internet. i don't have problem relocating so it can be from anywhere. thanks for your help- serious replys only

Every Friday, my cousin's kids (let's call her Carol) spend the night at my other cousin's house (let's call her Jill). They are sisters. Jill has been going bar hopping every Friday with her friends and I have no idea what Carol does. Jill will call me up every Friday and ask me to baby sit one of Carol's kids. I usually say, Ok. It seems like the only reason I go over there is to baby-sit. Carol has a day job and I don't know why she can't watch her own kid. She's called about five times today and I didn't answer any of them because I didn't want to baby-sit tonight. Does it sound like I'm being used? Am I wrong for ignoring her calls? Sorry if this sounds confusing.

My father in law is having an angiogram done a week from today to find out if he needs to have open heart surgery. He lives in South Dakota my husband and I live in Tennessee. My husband is on what is called a partial layoff at work which means his hours have been cut back periodically due to slow production and we are stretching every penny we can to make ends meet as it is. My husbands employer has a program set up where if there is a family emergency he will get paid for his time to go to South Dakota to be with his dad, but he will have to have his dad's doctor fill out a form verifying that he does in fact need to be there. I told my husband if it was serious by all means get on a plane and go, but with our financial mess I want him to help me figure bills out and make sure we're going to be ok before he leaves. His plane ticket will be more than what his weeks pay has been being. His sister found out and called me and told me I was a selfish *****. Am I wrong??

My older sister was diagnosed with depression about 2 years ago and ever since then i feel like she's been getting away with things, like not doing her share of the work, taking the car (OURS)without promission exct., and whenver i talk to my parents they get upset and tell me that she has a problem. Not to metion it puts a ton of pressure on me to be perfect! What should i do? is this wrong to be mad at her?

My son is 10 and he talks about his dad to everyone. He loves that his dad drives a heavy duty tow truck. The problem is, his dad only aknowledeges him when he's mad at him. I get the impression my husband doesn't like him.
My son has gone as far as making things up to make it sound like he has this great relationship with his dad, when it's the furthest thing from the truth. (I found out his stories when I read his journals the class would keep at school). It breaks my heart, I want my son to have a good relationship with his dad. How do I get this across to my husband who seems to be in denial of the whole situation?

What would you do if your sister not listen to you when you already told her to leave your family alone (wife and Kids) alone. SHe never there for me and she believe her mom over me. My mom drinking plm and she beat the crap out of me and call me deaf and dumb and stuff. BUt my sister don't think it true that mom would do that. Becasue she left 18 years old move 4,000 miles from home. I email her 3 times told her nicely to leave my family alone. told her that you ahve own family and mom over close by you and don't want you bothering my family.

She does and I tired of her doing that. what the best way for her to really seriously leave me and my family alone?? she is now 38 I am 35 and I though she can read??? seem not working need help?
