we have not a penny my husband is trying to get disability but they keep saying no. Living with family for almost 2yrs we want out & they want us out / My husband is 62 blind in right eye & left eye is going bad I am 59 Can anyone help us. We live in NC

Keep trying for disability.
Is there a reason you can't work?
If so, you might also want to appoly for disability.
Check with social services, if both of you are unable to work, you should qualify for section 8 housing .... you would get in to an apt or house for like $25 a month if you have no income, and once qualified for disability you would go to head of waiting list.

Well...since you are 59 you should know that nothing in life is for free. And even if it is "free" to you, it's actually the tax-payers paying for your "free-ride".
Keep living with your family...don't be a drain on the tax-payers.
