What's your opinion about spanking? A last resource for parents?Is it acceptable? An important correction tool for recalcitrant children or teens? Is there a limit age for spanking?

I'm competely against and have 2 good kids. I've never spanked them. Maybe spanking should be outlawed, though this wont ban it

I'm the daughter of a thief, who had always cheated on my mom, she knows it but she don't wanna divorce cauz he supports me and my brother financially.

I am lonely, I lost my friends, my bfs , cauz everytime I made some, I had to move out cauz dad did "something"


he was jailed 3 times.

He is now on a "business trip" for 8 months I haven't seen him! He doesn't love me , and I dont love him by the way

I don't get along with my brother he is a psycho, once he was about to kill us and suicide

God damn it I'm so confused.. On top of that I have all the problems of a regular girl: School , love, money problems etc...



PLEASE I don't want no solutions.. I just want you tell me that you have read this and that you understand what I'm talking about

Ive known my bf for around 8 years. In the begining our relationship was perfect. Since I have come to depend on him for alot of things. We had planned on moving in together and my daughter calls him dad. Recently things have changed. He puts me down, doesnt let me see me friends, and if i do he says Im messing around on him, even if he knows who i am with or where i am. he just told me he cant live with me bc he cant trust me. and he asked that my daughter not call him dad anymore because i am not parenting correctly. it hurts that he feels this way because i feel i have done nothing wrong. im terrified of losing him because hes become such a big part of our lives. but im more terrified that this could escalate into something more serious. help please. OH BTW- no I have not messed around on him.

I am 17 and next year i am going to college. i will keep living in my home as university is in my town. I am planning on study medicine. My problem is that that probably means that for at least 7 years i will not have my own income. maybe i will manage to get some job as a translator but only maybe during summer or sth because there are no many jobs for people without finished college in my country. My parents would be ready (and happy) to support me all the way through and to even rent me apartment but I feel uncomfortable because I have 3 younger sybllings and they will need money, too. My parents say that they will have everything they want but I feel guilt even now everytime they buy me sth. They tell me not to be funny thats what parents do, but do you understand what i mean? What can I do?

I want to go to my cousin's wedding in New York and my husband doesn't want to go because he's planned a social gathering with some of his friends that he sees every holiday and family occasion. All of my familly lives in New York and is going to be at my cousin's wedding. I haven't seen my family or been home in 2yrs. i don't have anybody but my mother who stay's here and i go to all of his family gatherings

This seems so very complicated so hang on. My brother in law is deaf as well as his girl friend of 10 years. They have 3 children together. For the last 5 years she has been bringing boyfriends into the house on and off and kicking him outside. He will not leave his children. Now the neighbors in the small town have been contacting us to help him. She has emotionally been abusing him these last 5 years. He is not allowed to eat with the family he has to wait until they are done. He tried to walk in front of a train this last week. We have taken him (a year ago) up to the police station so he could have the unwanteds removed and he won't do it. Now DHS stopped and we don't know why. She won't let him speak for himself and has him imtimidated. The police can't help unless he "speaks". (State Law) How do we help?

I am 12 years old and my sister is 15 going on 16. We are having a girl's nite out with my aunt who is about 38 or 39 years old. i know that im 15 and sick of everything.
my sister has autism,
my g-pa has heart disease,
my g-ma just died from a 9 yr run with altzheimers,
my g-pa died from cancer,
my mom cant get hreself together,
my dad is a recovering alcoholic that keeps relapsing,
my friends all moved away this year,
yet i still manage to keep a 4.0
anyone else have their life story to tell me?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and half and we have lived together for 7 months.... His mother is always babying him... always telling him how to live his life, always telling him how to handle things... i feel that she doesnt really trust me to take care of him (he got into a car accident and she insists on calling every hour to see how he is feeling and if he doesnt answer she'll call me and talk to me about it) she's constantly trying to do things that i can do for him, give him homemake spagehtti sauce, drive him here or there because he doesn't have a car... she is driving me crazy, and it might ruin our relationship... HELP!!!

Yes, I did. One day i was so pissed off with my pampered toddler brother and decided to play a prank on him. I poured ketchup on my wrist and pretended dying on my parent's bed. My younger sister "collaborated" and told my brother I am dying. The "bloody" sight made my brother wailed.

My son's birthday is in a week. My mother in-law and I were e-mailing each other about toys. She told me she would keep anything she bought at her house because she doesn't want to get insulted when it gets thrown away. She then said she saw that my husband had thrown away one of the toys she bought for my son.
What I haven't mentioned is that the toy was 2 years old broke and my son didn't use it (She did not know any of this. She just assumed my husband put it in the trash because... I don't know why). I wrote her back and told her it was broke and that I was the one that threw it out. Do you think she responded to that? NO! I'm really mad. Do I have a right to be?

I confiscated an ounce of pot from my 12 year old and grounded him for two weeks.

I sold most of the stash to my coworkers; my wife and I smoked a joint. Everyone that smoked it agrees that this is killer bud and I've been asked to get more. The problem is, my only source for more would be through my son.

How do I get another ounce from him without coming off as a bad influence?
