Family - July 2006

This morning, I saw a little three year old girl sobbing, her cheeks wet with tears. Then I learned why.....her beautiful big yellow balloon somehow slipped from her little grasps and away it flew. It flew past the height of the church gates. Then it flew higher up above the trees. And it continued to fly over and above the nearby office buildings. Soon, the yellow balloon was way up high, higher than anything there was on the ground. I looked at the little girl, her face filled with grief as if she lost some great treasure. We both looked up to the sky and saw the yellow balloon getting smaller and smaller as it went flying higher and higher than before until we could no longer see it. How can I tell the little child what happened to her lost yellow balloon?

Does anyone have a clue about how I can live in peace with my bra? It seems I'll never get used to bras. I gotta wear one, but it's like my bra is alwyas telling me Hey girl, I'm here, on your breasts. They make me sweat, especially in the heat. Sometimes I feel like burning them, but everyday I have to put one on, clip its 3 or 4 hooks inthe back and keep it on. And sometimes its straps fall off my shoulder. How can I stop my bra from making me sweat in the heat? How can I get used to it? Don't you get mad when your bra make you sweat or annoy you? What do you do when it makes you sweat and you cant take it off?
I know bras are really important, but sometimes they suck. Well, seems this is a price many of us females have to pay just for being females

We were talking about her car getting fixed since it was me that allowed my brother to drive it cuz his car had a flat. He got in an accident with his friend and both of them are flat broke. I told her I was going to fix the car and she was upset and hung up on me in the middle of conversation.

my dad drinks to damn much and he gets drunk too easily and my mom(if i want to even call her that.) is on her 4th ******* relaps and she yells at me every freaking day for no damn reason! i dont know what to do. if i do one thing she yells at me,if i do another thing she yells at me. she has slapped me i dont know how many times and.....i just want to get out of there. i rarly have friends over and when i do my parents dont say ANYTHING to us. we have to go outside and away from the house just to escape the tenction. i dont know what to do i have to stay SO quite and at times i've just thought of running away. what can i do?

an avalanche of 700 or more letters , the cover shows part of a breast and the baby being breast fed.
Are we that small to make a big deal out of that?
A woman said she did not want her 12 year old son to see that.
Does she know what he looks at on the internet?
In Europe magazines of all types are on display at all the kiosk. European boys are not becoming perverts because they saw some covers.
Give me a break, we can't be this puritan.

My favorite memory of my Grandfather is sitting on his lap in a rocker on the front porch and listening to him tell me stories inwhich he made me a character. I have very vague memories of my grandmother. I just know she made me feel like I was important.

My boyfriends dad is by all accounts a b$st*rd. He treated his wife, my bf's mum very badly and behaves in a very selfish manipulative way. He has a reasonable relationship with his other children but my bf hates him due to what he did to his mother. His father is very ill and actually survived a major heart attack last year. Is there anything I can do to help the situation as I'm afraid if his father dies my bf will always regret that they were on such bad terms.

we orriginaly agreed we would meet in a town between the two homes for every other weekend and he would send 100.00 dollars every paycheck he has cancled or postponed all but five visits in the past 4 1/2 months and conntributed maybe 175.00 to assist in her needs, I keep geting threats from him that he will have his lawyer ready and then he will get his way ........ what do I do

My dad wants me to meet his cousins, that I've met when I was a baby, but I don't remember them. I just recently met his other family. He knows that I don't like to meet a lot of people at once, or if I do meet a bunch of people at once I have to have a place that I can get away for a while. Either we would go over to their house or they would come over here. Either way most of the attention would be on me & I don't deal with that very well. How do I remind him of that, without hurting his feelings? What kind of clothes should I wear for this thing?

MY mom and me went to the mall and had a huge run in i went to a store to go pick up a shirt and she walked in the store and said"my other daughter has to get a shirt blahh etc" so we found one for her and walked out i said what about me and she said opps i forgot about you.and walked back in and we bloth started yelling at each other causen she didn't like the fit and on it went and now she is call me spoiled and other bad names and won't talk to me what do i do to help our realtionship get better

My nephew turned 3 two months ago...his parents are trying to get him potty trained so he can go to school this fall but their pediatrician is telling them not to rush it because he is not mentally prepared.

The kid screams and cries if you put him on the potty...what's going on and what do you think they should do...
