Ok, a good start is to be the "bigger" person and tell her you're very sorry. She's not acting very mature by refusing to speak to you. If you make the first move, are sincere, and respectful, then hopefully she'll react in a similar way. After all, she's the mom and is supposed to act like an adult!
Are there any issues among the 3 of you regarding envy of your sister by you, or vice versa? If so, then these need to be addressed.
Maybe your mom was feeling stressed that day and really didn't mean to hurt you. She could have had things on her mind.
Remember, she is your mom. If the shirt was too tight, too low-cut or otherwise inappropriate, then be grateful you have a mom who cares about these things. A lot of girls dress so cheaply and the moms either don't notice or don't care.
Tell your mom that your feelings were hurt by the bad names and you wish she wouldn't say stuff like that.
Good luck with this! I'm the mom of a teenage daughter, and believe me, it's not easy (for her, or me!).

As a Mother with two daughters (grown now) I would say that you and your Mom need to have a talk about what you expect from each other. It seems strange that she would buy a shirt for your sister, and then give you a 'hassle' about the shirt that you wanted (unless it was a revealing or otherwise unsuitable style, for you)
Try to resolve this, too, by trying to find some jobs, babysitting, dog walker, whatever, so that you can earn your own money to buy your own clothes. This worked for me when I was young, and it worked for my daughters, too. Moms really can't complain too much if you buy something with your own hard-earned money.

Maybe you ought to go clothes shopping by your self. You only get one mother and should try to treasure each moment with her. they are not long here on the earth.
Ask anyone who has lost thier mother and they will tell you the same we do not cherish them enough.
Try and make it up with her ask her if you can both start again and get to know each other better.
Life is far too short for arguments try living each day as though it were your last it will make a huge difference

Depends how old you are!
It's sad that this has happened, but it is a common occurrence between parents and their teenage children.
Go and apologise, even if you think she is the one in the wrong. That's the most grown up thing anyone can do. (Even grown ups).
Then give each other some space for a while.
She loves you really - and you love her really, right? Then go say so.

ur mum is not ur chum. u should know u owe her respect by now otherwise u r sowing seeds of abuse from ur own kids in future.
dont dis-respect her not to talk of in public.
u r only showing the stuff ur environment is made of.
But...
U sound like an ok person bcause u want to reconcile. U owe her apologies. go kneel down before her and apologise the african way. (u'll surprise her by this)
promise ur self never to engage her in any sort of fight(verbal or otherwise) maintain discipline of the tongue. that u hv an opinion is not a right to pour it out on her.
treat her like u want to be treated in future.
take care.

Just talk to her and say or sorry because talking to people helps out alot then the next time you shop either make compromise for your clothes or pick out your own things Will be OK people sometimes need sometime to cool off good luck.

Easy. Buy her a shirt that you feel it fits on her, but know for sure she does not like it. Next time she know she should not over control your style.

Get in there first. Apologise to her and she will apologise to you. Arguments happen, but only become an issue if you let them.

Sometimes it's better to say "I'm sorry" even if you don't feel that you are wrong. Just say "Mom, I love you unconditionally"
