Im in love with a guy who is 3 years younger than me. He does not belong to my religion also. We both r in love with each other. N he has also promised me that he will convince my parents.But my father is very strict n i dont think he will agree 2 our relation. I love both my parents n my boy friend equally. Now im in a dilama 2 choose any one. What should i do...??????

my best friend and i are very close and it seems like we tell each other everything but sometimes we wont be on the same page for example: shel be in a bad mood and il try to cheer her up but she ends up saying rude things to me that kinda hurt and later on when we see each other again she acts like nothing happend and she calls me a "baby" i hate that. anyways, why is it that i care so much? why do i stay mad at her?

I never used to want kids of my own but after being with my bf who has full custody of his 2 young kids, it has changed my mind. We're not together anymore but I will always be there for him and his kids if they need me but one question I have for you is, can you describe in words what it's like to have kids of your own? I know you life changes so much, but how does it feel emotionally? I can't wait for the day I have one of my own (but I will until I'm really ready to).

I dont want to sound mean and I try hard not to be. but mum-in-law can't look afterself any more so she lives with my husbands brother and wife. His wife looks after her waits on her hand and foot. and she is just mean and spiteful back. She does have some dementure but we can tell the confustion caused by this from her nasty spells, She thretened to cut my sister-in-laws throat the othernight because she told her to walk around the other way because there was stuff on the floor in the way. She says horrid things and threatens us all with her walking stick. There is no reasoning with her. My sister-in-law is now conserened that she may actualy become physicaly abusive and how to handle it if she does. We all make all kinds of allowance for her. and no one wants to sound horrid and nasty but shes getting a bit much now.

My fiance and I have been together for 8 almost nine months, and we have moved into together and everything else. We have a pretty good relationship most of time, even though the past two to three months have been rocky. Most of his family and I get along for the most part very well ,and they seem to have accepted me into their family. Except his aunt and cousin, for some reason they are under the impression I'm pregnant. Which I'm not and they keep spreading it around his family that I am and around work. They are starting to harass me. He knows I'm not and is getting pissed too, and we have offered to go to the doctor and take all of them with us to get them off our backs. My mom knows I'm not and I keep telling her not to get involved. What should we do? This has been going on for about two to three months. Help please. Should I let my mom get involved? Should we keep ignoring them?

How do you deal with a mother in law from hell? This woman is never satisfied and is constantly being critical of everything you do. Yet does it in an underhanded way. She maintains a relationship with my husbands ex which causes all kinds of headaches. She acts as though she is jealous of my husbands and my relationship. You would think that she would be happy for him but instead every time he says something good about me she acts distant or tells a story about how she did it better when she was younger with children living at home. My husband does see what is going on and has offered to put her in her place but I think she would see this as me drawing lines in the sand and the feud would continue. I have always been kind and thoughtful to her and have yet to call her on her nastiness. Do you think that kindness will eventually prevail or should I put this old bittie in her place?

So I have seen that there have been many questions regarding "Spanking",I have to be honest in saying that I am not exactly sure how I feel about it.I know that I always knew my parents loved my very much and I have no bad feelings for them but now that I am a mother I am not sure I could ever spank my son when he gets older.I was spanked by my father and later by my stepfather growing up.My four step-siblings were also spanked and we never thought anything of it.Anyway your opinions would be appreciated.

ALOT of our teens have more RESPECT & RESPONSIBLITY
than what we are willing to accept. All we need to do is to realize that a younger person is capable of parenting as we are. Oh & by the way..parenting is a lifelong course. So we who are parents now still have alot to learn. ( We learn from our children)

I grew up not knowing my father. I got his number in Feb of 05 and since then I have seen him a few times over the past 2 years and know him a little better. We have somewhat of a relationhsip. Now I am engaged and I told him his girlfriend would not be invited to the wedding. He is more than welcome but she is not. She is 3 years older than me and I am 25. My father is 58. She has lost custody of her kids due to alcohol and drug use,(state has custody of her youngest) she has stolen from and cheated on my father, she just got out of jail for possession of crack and did some time in rehab. She is using my father and he knows this. I sent him an email informing him she would not be invited for these reasons and he called me self righteous and judgmental and said I was putting myself on a pedestal. He said that I should not look down on on others less fortunate. She made her choices and I dont feel bad for her. Am I self righteous like he said or right to feel this way?
