I never used to want kids of my own but after being with my bf who has full custody of his 2 young kids, it has changed my mind. We're not together anymore but I will always be there for him and his kids if they need me but one question I have for you is, can you describe in words what it's like to have kids of your own? I know you life changes so much, but how does it feel emotionally? I can't wait for the day I have one of my own (but I will until I'm really ready to).

having children is like taking your heart out of your chest and placing it on a platter for all to see and then just hope that no one decides to squish it till you can't bear the pain any more....

Your greatest vulnerability will be your children.... and when they are grown up your greatst vulnerability will be your grand children...

Your greatest joy will be your children...

and you have absolutely no say over whether you will feel more joy than pain....

its the best thing in the world because you get to watch them grow up and learn the way of life and here them say and learn new things every day........... well i dont have a kid but my bro has a soon to be 2 year old daughter thats ive been taking care of for 7 months on week days from 8 am to 5 pm and i some times treat her as my own.

and I can't wait for the one I had to move out!! he's 9 years old so only 7 years till I can legally boot his butt out!........
Seriously.,it can be tough at times, alot of times to be honest., I split from my lads dad when he was a year old and was on my own with him until last summer and it was rough.....
I'd suggest to anyone to just get a puppy.,alot less hasstle, they will never shout "I hate you" at you, and you don't need a babysitter to go to the pub!

And you won't spend half as much money at Xmas HAHA
