I'm actually quite serious about this, I've read and was actually told this by my own mother, some time ago, that "they're not ready to date, they show no interest in it whatsoever" Now I can vouch for myself on this, when I was 15, 16, I was interested in dating, but wasnt allowed. Basically for that reason, I was told I'm not ready, and I don't have any interest in it.

So basically what I'm asking is how do you really know your kids are interested in dating or not, because my mother sure didn't know.

My father never scold or fight me before, but u know one day he scold me, i'm very hurt to hear that.He said that "I'm very lazy and don't try hard to study".He never stay at home why he know i'm lazy and never try hard on study?Infact I do a lot of housework and study hard not like anything he say.Since he scold me I feel we are living away from each other.He never talk to me,but he is a quite person.I think it is not his fault.

ok, this one is a doozy!
I have a dear friend who lived with a woman for about 2 years. they had a baby together. then she moved out after months of hellatious fights and violence on her behalf. there are other children involved. she has a son 9 years old. he has a daughter 12 years old. these children had to live through this mess too. the ex has outright accused him of sleeping with his daughter, which is completely unfounded!
now she wants him to pay child support and have no contact with the baby. PLUS she's pregnant again!
she's put him in the hospital twice already with anxiety attacks and pectoral angina. his health can't suffer her constant harrassment for money. he's already had to get a restraining order against this woman!
he's planning to relinquish rights to the second baby. I think he should relinquish rights to both since she doesn't want to let him be a part of his sons' lives. why should he have to pay out the nose for children he'll never get to see?

is there a lawer in the house that can help my son hes been charged with haveing sex with a minor but she had told him she was older then what she was we had a lawer an he quite now my son is setting in boone county ar jail with out a lawer he had a public defender but belive me they stink an we hired a lawer an now he quite because he got mad at me an the public defender told him if he had to take the case over again he would make it harder on him then the prsocuter would so he afried to use him an with out a good lawer he dosent stand a chance an now we dont have no more money to pay a lawer an my husben is disabledcan some one help us please cherokee

My boyfriend and I are looking to find an apartment to move into, so that it can be myself, him, and our baby. We are currently living in separate homes, and would like to move into together, so that we can become more responsible parents toward our daughter, and to be able to spend more time together as a family.

After having a lot of bad trouble with my father I don't have much faith in men. I haven't spoken to him for the last 3, almost 4, years now. I am 19. I feel, if a guy likes me, that he must only want one thing; why else would he want me? I feel worthless to men...it sounds melodramatic i know, but i honestly do. I wonder why anyone would love me if my own father couldn't? I'm very pesimistic and cynical nowadays and it's really getting me down, any advice?

My fiance and I are exspecting a little boy oct 27th, her and I have been together for 1 year and things have been great.....I have a two year old girl from a previous relationship and I asked many, many times before we went into even dating if she was comfortable with me having a child, she said YES!!! numerous times, and is wonderful with my daughter.....My daughter stays with us mon. and tues. and everyother weekend, and latley my fiance is not handling it too well. Not wanting to understand that 2 year olds typiclly are a little stressful, or saying things that really REALLY set me off. Im begining to doubt her stength, and the commitment she said she wanted sooooo bad. Shes is starting to
make me feel like my dauhgter ( someone who is going to be in my life FOREVER and who I love and adore) ( wich makes us a FAMILY ) is something she feels she shouldnt be home alone with her, having some responsibilites, pertaining to her, me and us 3 as a family.
am i a jerk, or insensitive?

Broke up with ex, moved out of our apt we shared and moved back with parents. Been home for one week and my mom, who mismanages money all the time is already trying to hit me up for money. I paid $500 on her rent and $150 on electric for this month and I've only been there for 1 week. Today she said she needed help for rent again and gas. I told her I was going to move out into own place is this wrong? She has a good jib and so does my step father but she just spends and neglects to pay bills on time.

MY PARENTS ARE ELDERLY AND I AM AT WITTS END AS TO WHAT TO DO. THEY KEEP THE HOUSE AT 80-82 DAY AND NIGHT. I'VE OFFERED TO PAY THE ELECTRIC BILL, BUT THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT. THEY WOUN'T PUT A SWEATER ON OR SEEM TO EVEN CARE HOW I FEEL. I CANNOT SLEEP AT NIGHT, I SWEAT AND HAVE ASTHMA. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. THEY SAY I'M CRUEL AND AM UNCARING ABOUT THE ELDERLY. I CANNOT AFFORD TO GET MY OWN PLACE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I'M TRYING TO PUT MY SON THROUGH COLLEGE. MY MOM CRIES WHEN I SAY I'M MOVING OUT BUT I JUST CANNOT LIVE HERE. I CANNOT PUT AN AIRCONDITIONER IN THE WINDOW BECAUSE THE PLACE THEY LIVE DOES NOT ALLOW WINDOW AIR CONDITIONERS. IF THEY WOULD ONLY TURN THE THERMOSTAT DOWN TO AT LEAST 78 I COULD LIVE MUCH EASIER. ANY SUGGESTIONS???
