Family - July 2006

Life? Life is good but then life is bad. Here I am 21 yrs old not going to college, living with my sister but ready to be on my own. Holding down two jobs but bills keep growing and growing. I am at a stage in my life where I don't know what to do. who I am, or where I want to go in life. Don't think I am crazy. Sometimes I feel like crying. I know that I am not depressed but may somebody has been at this stage before. Yes I know that it will all pass but what to do is my question ?

i have sat down with the kids and counselors over the years and we have continuously warned them of whats going to happen if they continue these behaviors. when everyday either one of them has stolen something,broken something told me they hate me ,told me they wish i would die,have raised their hands at me,they make me nervous at times. their are times when ive had to physically restrain them. it was either me or them.ive called the police and they dont do nothing butslap the cuffs try to scare them alittle and then let them go they unless they commit a crime there is nothing they can do and its hard sometimes because they both steal and so unless i saw exactly who stole and since they both lie im stuck again with things missing. ive written to maury but havent heard anything yet. ive went to social services and asked about respite,and they said that because of the severity of their behaviors there is no respite for them. i feel like my heart is about toexplode.ijustwantthebestforthem

for 4 years i was in Greece working with my family.i finished highschool and i have another sister who is 19 years old.she did not finished high school.we were working in Greece and you know how bad system they have.they were very bad and they were exploiting us.now i am with my boyfriend in America.well during that time when we were working we were giving some money home.we were living on an iland.i do n ot have permiotion to work still.my family they say it is easy for me here and that i do not do anything and they need money.i do not haVE ..THEY WERE WORKING TOO.they are asking money from my sister and sayng that they will give the money back to her,.i really feel bad what i do?my ssister is working 12h day without free day!!!!!!!!!i feel bad.i want to take her here withme ..so she can have normal life,,,i wish i had rich parents to help me.i am confused and feel i abanded them.they are drinking almost every night and we can not stand it.

I have known my sister in law for six years and she has never liked me due to the good relationship I have with my mother in law. My sister in law lives in Dallas and I live in San Antonio. Therefore it's harder for my mother in law to have a better relationship with her because of the distance. On Christmas Day 04' she came out and told us how much she disliked my husband and I and she would not be a brides maid at our wedding. When we have family get togethers my husband and I try to conversate but she'll only answer and say nothing else. Even though she has been the one to blame for most of the problems we have I still feel like we started on the wrong foot and should apologize to her for anything I might have done to upset her. Should I apologize or just leave it alone? I'd hate to one day have kids and always have that invisible wall between her kids and mine.

Is it healthy to let my mother in-law live with us so she can take care of our son while I am working? We don't have a very good relationship nor bad, but she smokes a lot, and use bad language...

We don't know anybody here and we have no family near us but in Puerto Rico. My mom can't come here but my mother in-law can for a while maybe permanently, but she needs to travel back there to check her own house. What can I do? I don't feel that is a good idea, Am I wrong?

It was a factor 25, and water proofed. They played in the pool allday with regular top-ups of suncream on. And now they are a crispy red beetroots. Clearly boots own brand, doesnt do the job it is intended to do. I've put some after-sun cream and also sudo-cream on them anything else to sooth away and get the redness away?

my sister is 4 years younger than me and having trouble with this girl. our neighbor is babysitting one of my sisters not so good friends. the girl always rides her bike through are yard and asks my sister to play outside. she doesnt want to but she feels bad about saying no. she ends up going and coming inside crying because the girl is mean to her. very mean.

please help. if you have any ideas on what i can do i could really use the advice.

i love my daughters so much it makes me want to cry sometimes..(2 girls who are 7 and 5), i cannot believe i made these beautiful human beings.

some of you cynics may be vomiting in your buckets now or just be sucking the air through your teeth or raising your eyes to the ceiling!

people always say we dont 'own' our children we are merely looking after them..what do you think???

I want my three daughters( twins who are three months old and a little girl who is two) and my husband to go on a vacation that they will remember( at least the 2 year old will remember). Problem is that my kids are so young, can anyone reccomend a great place to go where they will have fun? I don't want to go skiing or anything, but sunny states with a beach, sand, and a nice hotel would be nice.It has been hard to locate a place because they are so young. Any ideas would be great! Also, can you reccomend a timeshare so we don't have to worry about these sort of problems, it'll be easier because we will have options on where we wish to go and it'll be free to stay, because we would have already purchased the timeshare.

I am 26 years old and I have amother who just want stop talking about me. Talk about me like I am not her child and I am nothing. I know I have made mistakes. It's beacuse the lack of knowledge way I was growing up and that way we need a mother to come in at and help us understand somethings.
Now she has hurt me like never before. I trying to do the right things to have something. I am in school, I go to church. and I trying to live holy.
The one things that hurts the much is that she has my child and she has turn him against me. He is ten. And I haven't seem him in 6 months. People on the streets is coming back telling me things and my husband.
I have done a 360 in my life, but it seem like they hate me for doing the right thing. I cry everynight. I trying to be strong. I never done a thing so bad to my mother. I hurting because there are may thing I haven't share. I am not trying to call myself innoccent not by any means. I want to be a mother to

My fiance has a 2 year old son that lives in another state.He have child support for over $5,000 and got a petition of contempt. We called and Lady handling the case of back child support told us to bring a x amount of money ( which we have managed to get and show up for the court date? With giving the x amount of money and is about 1/3 of what he owes... will this be enough to keep him out of jail. this is the first court date he has ever had.
