It was a factor 25, and water proofed. They played in the pool allday with regular top-ups of suncream on. And now they are a crispy red beetroots. Clearly boots own brand, doesnt do the job it is intended to do. I've put some after-sun cream and also sudo-cream on them anything else to sooth away and get the redness away?

When I got 3rd degree burns from the sun, calamine lotion worked the best now available in mousse form so no rubbing in (that would have been bliss) always check the star rating on the back of the bottle of suncream - UVA rating, the front is UVB, nivia has 5 stars, one of the best, ambre solaire - not so many etc. Hope this helps.

Greek yogurt is good for sun burn, if I was you I would take photos of your kids and write a letter of complaint to boots head office, it could be that you have purchased part of a dodgy stock in which case they need to know, or even if it is crap they still need to know.
In future I would recommend you get a stronger factor for your kids as the weather at the moment is not what we are used to and therefore a stronger factor is required for anyone.

Go see a pediatrician and get a medicine cream for the condition. I have had this case in my office many times, seems as I work in Miami.
