I confiscated an ounce of pot from my 12 year old and grounded him for two weeks.
I sold most of the stash to my coworkers; my wife and I smoked a joint. Everyone that smoked it agrees that this is killer bud and I've been asked to get more. The problem is, my only source for more would be through my son.
How do I get another ounce from him without coming off as a bad influence?

You are not going to be able to ask him for another bag without coming across as a bad influence. You are goinng to have to either get your son involved into what he got punished for or else you are going to tell your coworkers that you can't help. I don't believe that it right for parents to punish their children for something that they have done in their lifetime, at least not for a first offense. You can't let your son find out that you are needing more and be able to keep him from messing with it. He is going to think that it is ok for doing it. You should have just gotten rid of it in a different manner and you wouldn't have this situation at your hands. You are going to have to choose which is more important to you, your son and his punishment and your desire to keep him away from such things, or the coworkers looking for a killer high.

Find another source! You do NOT ask your 12 year old what his source is. He is either not going to tell you for fear he could get somebody else in trouble or he is going to know it is for you. We are suppose to set an example for our children to learn and live by. What lesson you teaching him? Tell your co workers if they want more they will have to get it on their own! I am having a real hard time here even believing that your question is a sincere one or if you wrote it to see what kind of rise you could get out of people.

you are so wrong for this you take it from the kid and then you have the nerve to ground him and then sale some of it and you and your wife smoke some of it you both need to be put in jail.and the 12 year needs to be taken away from y'all its not right to even have pot or any other drugs around kids y'all don't need drugs either you both need the lord in a bad way i will pray that your son will be OK and you to will find the lord before you destroy your lives.you need to act like adults not 12 year old

You are already a bad influence and a hypocrite. Your son learned how to abuse an illegal substance from you and your wife. Sounds like you all need to attend rehab as a family. You're leading him down a road to nowhere.

OMG you are kinnding...right? Do you know how much trouble you are going to be in! You cant smoke pot and especially to get it throught your 12 year old kid thats unbelieavable!! You need to take a good look at your life and realize what you are teaching your chid. Do you want your kid to be a dope smoker or to go to college and get a good education and a good life? You really really really need to get your self together and get control of your life and kid. They have free help for that kida stuff! Seriously!

I am curious as to why you confiscated it in the first place? You obviously don't think there is anything wrong with the use of marijuana.
Children learn what they live. Your son has been exposed to a double standard. Shame on you!

Not possible. You guys smoke, so why bother grounding him? You should all start going to Narcotics Anonymous. I was recently jailed for smoking with my son's 15 y.o. friend. Believe me when I say IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

dude that's a tough one I haven't smoked in like ten years but I know whats up when there some goodness around what can you do you can't ask your kid to cop some weed for your buddies for one he's going to think your smoking and then he'll tell his friends i really don't know what to tell you good luck

Tell him you are very disappointed in him for doing what he did and you don't want other kids to end up like addicts and you want to know who his source is so that you can give him a piece of you mind. =)
