In September we will be married for 5 years, been together for 7 in April. I met my husband through my sister. She was dating his friend and he was dating her friend. I was 12 and he was 17, so I was the kid sister (very ignored). Anyway years went passed and I married and on my way to divorced and was pregnant by my loser ex husband I was walking out of a gas station one night and there he was standing there. Funny thing was, his ex girlfriend and I were talking about him like a week before. I had heard that he was married with 3 kids. So when I saw him at the gas station, I looked for the car seats. When I didn't see them, I decided to talk to him and see what was happening in his life. We were both single so decided to give it a whirl now that I was not the kid sister. The rest as they say is His-tory.... LOL

It's been almost 26 years for my hubby and me. 27 if you count the year we dated before marriage. Believe it or not we met on a blind date. My friend from work was dating my husbands room mate and she thought we would get along great lol Boy oh boy was she right ! I love him as much now if not more then when we first got together.

15 years 6 months and we met over the telephone. I was working for a phone company in WV. He lived in SC and when Desert Shield started he called in to change his info. We talked for a bit (I could have gotten fired cause I took his info home and called him) That was in Aug. 90. I flew to meet him in Oct. 90 and the second day I was there he asked me to marry him. (of course we had visits and phone calls in between).
we both feel really blessed and the funny thing is we had both been so hurt in pre marriages that we said we'd be friends but never get married again never say never smile

WE have married for 14 years next Tuesday (and together for 6 years before that)
we met at college and had many friends in common - i was attracted to his patience and masculine gentleness and generous spirit as well as his relative maturity and well rounded personality.
enough said in case he reads this and his head grows too big to be able to leave the room!

I actuallt met my mate when we were both married to our previous spouses.
We didn't even like one another as friends whne we first met LOL but after both of our spouses had affairs with other people and we had been divorced for several years we met back up at the public pool. We both had taken our kids there to swim.
We got to talking. He asked me out to dinner and 10 months late we were married.
I was attracted to him becasue of his sense of humor and his integrity.
We just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this year.

He was my elder brothers best friend since H.S and was always around ...I was abt 13 when I first met him ...! We were close friends through out my teenage years but never dated or anything ...just there for each other and when I turned 21 he proposed .... we were happily married and madly in love for 16 years and wud still be married , making it 19 years if not for the damn cancer ........

We have only been married for 3 years . We met at work. He was so sweet ! You could just tell he was crazy about me ! I felt so comfortable talking with him. He always listened to me ( not sure what happened . lol . ) He really is a good guy.

We have been married 8 years, and it hasn't always been easy.
I met him at a gas station, some of my friends were trying to 'hook up' with some of his friends.
I was attracted to his smile and sense of humor.... still am!

We met in a resturant. she was a waitress. I asked her out and she said no. Later she changed her mind and we have been together 16 years.
