dear little baby boy

just four days ago your first birthday had past
and i still can't believe how the year had went so fast

i remember when i first held you and looked into your eyes
i new then that i could have cryed

because you looked so beauitful from head to toe
and from that day on i vowed i could never let you go

the months they flew by quickly and than you said dad
and even though i was happy it kind of made me sad

when you started crawling i couldnt help but smile with glee
because i was just so happy that you belong to me

and when you took your first steps i smiled even more
you took your first three steps and than fell softly on the floor

i hope when you grow you know how much i care
and that always in your life i will be there..

if you need a helping hand just call out my name
no matter what it is i will love you just the same

BE HONEST PLEASE I CAN TAKE THE TRUTH THANKS

This poem will always be cherished by your little one, even after he has his own little ones. I sure do like it ,it`s very warm and caring. we need use more expressions of love for our children these days. Now just a little correction in the spelling, perhaps do a spell check and this will really help. May God bless you and your little one.

This poem is soo cute! Just remember to check your spelling and punctuation (line 4 should say Knew not new and cried not cryed.) And maybe the title should be more personal.

It is a sweet and sentimental poem; but please, before you inscribe it in his baby book, correct it for spelling and grammar; capitalize appropriately and watch verb tenses.

...just four days ago your birthday HAD PAST-
vs. four days ago your birthday passed ;

...I still can't believe how the year HAD WENT SO FAST-
try "the year went so fast"...and so forth and so on.

You KNEW, not new, that you could have cried, not cryed... correcting the English gives it more readability.

aren't' little boys so special and so sweet?

Thats sweet that you wrote your son a poem. Its nice because you highlight the important stages he went through before he turned 1.
