connection problems?

My husband and I lived away from my family for 15 years and moved back a year ago. I'm still having problems connecting with them. We've never been extremly close. I just don't know how to connect with them. Any advice?

You guys are still family, albeit blood or relationship.

Go over for family dinners and maybe have a trip out. Call once in awhile to check on hows everything. If everyone is too many, move closer to either your parents or siblings at a time. It'll give the rest of the family a whole new view about you and maybe it might progress from there on.
