Things have been really bad for us for a very long time due to issues out of our control. It's been soooo long, everytime something happens and I've said to my son "don't worry, things will get better" and this last incident he said "mom, don't even tell me that things will get better because they won't because they never do" -- that I'm lying to him. I mean I know he was upset (he's almost 18 and actually pretty mature). How do you keep those around you "up" when you feel like you are falling down completely and things are so out of control? He's right - things just keep getting worse and the worse they do get, they affect other things that make them worse. Do you know what I mean? For instance, just a small issue acutally - had 2 cars (3 drivers) - one car died in a parking lot but didn't have $$ to fix it so it was towed and it's gone and racking up charges. I've just written it off at this point like a lot of stuff. Again, little issue. Go figure. 1 car 3 drivers-w/out of wrk

She has two kids. I want to call social services and/or the police to wake her up but she's my sister and I love her. I fear for my nieces because she has numerous unknowns at her home at all hours of the day and nite. She is constantly asking my parents for money to help pay bills and buy food even though she works and gets food stamps. I know she is using her money to feed her habit. She has only confessed to smoking weed to me but I've heard rumors about crack. She dropped out of school and has a court order to get her GED but she won't do it. I think it's time for a wake up call but I don't know how to do it.

My husband and I argue a lot about day care for our son. He doesn't want to spend money on a sitter when he could have his family members watch him. But the thing is that his family is crazy. I mean literary. His sisters have been in jail and known for beating up the people in the neighborhood that they didn't like. Should this problem even matter, or should I just go with my own instinct.

Now that summer is coming I thought I could take her to work with me.I'm a doorman for a prestigious pole dancing club in Soho. One night I took Kim to work & showed her the stage where the girls dance. She loved the bright lights & glitter. The show was going to start so I tucked Kimi up with a coke & her colouring book & went to let in the punters in.It was a really busy night & to be honest I forgot about Kimi for a while. Then I was on my break & there was an almighty roar from the crowd. They were going seriously wild for one of the girls!I stuck my head around the door & saw my disabled sister butt naked writhing around on the floor. She had obviously been watching the girls strip & decided to copy them. She made £120 in tips & the club owner has asked her back next week.I don't know if I should let her as the club is of a v. adult nature & her mental age is 7.On the other hand she seemed to enjoy herself & we could really do with the money.Do you think it would be ok to let her dance?

How much money would it take to live comfortably where you live?
By comfortably I mean having the basics - Food, Shelter and housing cost (heat, hydro, water), transportation, recreational needs (gym, theme parks). Do not include your ski resort trips and other fancy doodahs... just the basics.

I make over 50,000 a year and although I have two kids with special needs who suck me dry. I still don't think that's enough to get by these days.

Happily married for 12 yrs...with 4 great children. We dont have credit cards, if we dont have the cash then we dont buy it. We do without alot and so do the children. We receive food assistance and go to food pantries sometimes. Husband works full-time and during football and basketball season has a second job. Our youngest is 7 mths old and Im a stay at home mom. I have worked in the past, but it usually all went to childcare. We have never had a family vacation, and the bills are barely getting paid. We are currently renting and just found out we have to move...the landlords family wants to buy the house. Now we have to move and that is another expence...we werent prepared to deal with right now. I just want to relieve some stress from hubby and lighten his load he is a great father and provider...How can the children and I help? Loving wife and mom! Thanks... :)

i met a guy about 7 yrs ago and after about 6 months of us meeting he asked me out..at that time i said no because his ex-wife was still around lots they do have children together so i understood. about 2 yrs ago we started dating and like every relationship we have our ups and downs..recently his ex called me to let me know that on their anniversary he called her to say happy anniversary to her and asked her not to tell me cause i would be mad..i did confront him with it and his response was that he did not know why he did it..i asked him if he still loved her and he said no ii also asked if he wanted to be with her and he said no..the other things that i am aware of is that he will go to her house on occasions to see the children so he says and will go into her home and make himself at home but if i am with him he will pretend like he can't stand her..my question is "should i drop him" or should i quit looking into things too far.maybe it is innocent.his sis says theres nothin there

My family has moved to North Carolina and I am stil in California, they keep trying to get me out there but I am not sure what I should do. I don't know if it is because I have been in California so long and I have a lot of friends here or just because I am scared of the change. I am really confused on what to do. I want to move out of California but I don't know if that would be a good move for me. HELP!! What are your thoughts and ideas?
I also have two kids that I would be uprooting but one of them is going to be 3 and she really doesn't care and the other is 14 and he is okay as long as he is with me.
What do I do?

After a recent seperation from my husband (we have been together 11 years seperated for a month and now back together) my husband told me that his mother stated that "If we got back together she thought it was a mistake and we should go our seperate ways but if we did then I was not invited to any family functions." Now I havent done anything to this woman ever, well I stood up to her once when she was talking down about my husband ( her older 2 boys are saints my hubby is the black sheep) but that was years ago.He says he hasnt said anything bad about me to her. And I have never cheated on him or anything our problems were more financial issues than anything. My question is on holidays should I stay home by myself and let him take the kids (we have 3- 2 together) the oldest already has stated that if I dont go he isnt either (he is 17) or should I ask my hubby to stand up to her and say if my wife isnt invited then we ALL will not be coming. What do you all think I should do?

I don’t know about you… But for me, being asked by ‘this’ question means a lot… for me it means that the person who asked you cares about you…

I am really feeling bad this past few days and no one even cares. Even my family doesn’t care. No one wants to listen to my cries.

Maybe, by answering this question you can make it as an outlet of your feelings, of your thoughts. May it be negative or positive…
