I love and respect my mom don't get me wrong...but she gets mad like on Wednesdays at her work they have to come up with a "win" for the day....and we do it at dinner.Tonight mine was that my boyfriend made it through his surgery okay and she was like well..lets make it a little more personal next time. Well, to be honest that's as personal as I could have to today. Yes, I am only 17 but no one understands my feelings and how much a I care for this guy. This isn't the first time she has tried to tell me I needed to be personal...well its not always about him like last week it was my friend Ashley who got in a wreck was alive....after some major things happened. I'm sorry but my friends are my life and who I really am I know she wouldn't understand probably. She waited 'till I was like 14 to try to come into my life anyway...I raised myself with my brother and I can't stand it I don't know how to show her that I respect her but can live my own life....Any advice would be appreciated...

I am 21 years old and I currently live at home with my Parents and my boyfriend of six years. My Mother is really pressuring us to move out. My boyfriend says that we arnt ready because neither of us makes very much money. I understand that my mother wants us out of her house because she wants to haver her privacy and everything, but I also agree with my boyfriend that we just arnt financialy ready yet. I am totaly suck in between. I see both sides of the argument, It seems that the only one suffering here is me because this has caused fights with both of them. so what should i do? should i just get out of here even though i know we cant afford it or should i continue stalling? either way i am going to have to deal with the others conflicting opinon. tell me what to do!

I think my parents have found that the one way for me to be COMPLETELY, PAINSTAKINGLY honest with them is to wait until I'm asleep! She didnt come to my fith grade graduation because she didnt take a shower because of the baby!She was playing with the baby!(the babys 5 weeks old)She was crying a little,but she said she didnt have time!IT was at 9:00

My dad is always doing what he wants, when he wants. He fixes guitars, rides bikes, etc.
Well, he is being a royal asswipe to me and my mom. He never yells at my sister and we always argue.
He never cleans, and the only two people in my family he is nice to is my sister and his mom.
Hes my dad, I know but hes being really mean to me and my mom, and my mom is getting really miserable about it.

Hes not abusive or anything serious, hes just rude to anyone who disagreees with him.

Help please!!!

i keep having this dream, almost every night ...i dream about fish, gold fish. the only thing is in my dream (everytime i have this dream) one fish is sort of floating in mid air out of the water, and i always put it back in the water, and then itll start swimming around like normal. and thats it, my dreams over and i go on about dreaming about something else, but when i wake my fish dream is always the first thing on my mind. ive been having this dream almost every night sometimes 2 or 3 nights in a row, for about a month now. what do you think it could mean??

My 12 y/o daughter got into middle school and now I dont even know who the hell she is anymore. Im like who is this person we used to be so close, talking about everything. Now she gets in trouble, ended up getting transfered to a disciplinary school. Its never her fault. she has gotten very sneaky. I dont even trust her anymore. She has also become very disrespectful to adult. Not me or around me, but outside of my presence. If i put my hands on her i think i'll hurt her. I am not a naive parent, but i can't even give her the benefit of the doubt. I love my daughter, I want to do so many mother daughter things with her, but she's always in trouble. We used to be able to laugh and enjoy each other. I used to joke about having 10 of her if i could but now thats not even a thought let alone a joke. Plllllleeeeessssseeeee Somebody tell me how to find my baby. I know she is still in there. I refuse to give up on her. I know that she can do better. We just need a little help.

my sister hasn't spoken to me in 4 years she says i am a lier and this is not true i remarried and she did not agree with it she wont even say what it is i am lying about and i have know idea, i have tried talking to her but no luck , this hurts me so bad , i have begged forgivness for whatever i have done but still know luck this is hurting me so bad and it is hurting our mother even more everyone has talked to her but nothing works, she is here visiting this week with my mom and says if i come down there to my moms she will pack up and go back to south carolina , my mom is so hurt , i told my mom i would stay away for a week but she says i should not have to do that , my sister professes to be a christian but still wont change her mind about me she says it i died she would not even be at my funeral.what should i do , please send answer soon. My uncle opened a Gourmet Ice Cream & Coffee Shop back in december. Since then He is very controlling. He wants everyone to be as productive as him. what he dosen't understand, no one is going to be like him. He is a work ahollic maniac. What ever you do is not good enough. Other employees are starting to complain about him to the other owner. One of the employees left here in tears today. Anyway... I'm the Ice cream Maker, when I work with the other owner, he leaves me alone, I get in a zone. When I work with my uncle, I can't get in a zone because he is on my back, hounding me to be more productive, and mix a batch together, while I'm doing my IC dishes, while I'm labeling the IC Pans, all before the ice cream finishes freezing. What pisses him off so much that I have my own system, my own process for making IC. So he tries to control me. Finally I decided, I'm not going to let him do that to me anymore. He told me I had a problem. Bottom line...Is it me? Or is it him? Its up to you.

i feel that my brother is being controlled by his girlfriend. She use to be nice, but it seems like they just critisize people, including me and my husband. They are constantly bossing around our four year old, even though they have no children. They are rude and judgemental together! When we've approached him he gets defensice and mad. What can we say to make him see how he's acting? We do like her, but they are really becoming unbearable. It's causing the entire family to fight and it's all anyone ever talks about.

So he would be able to find a job. iI gave him one month to do this.He hasnt tried finding a job he doesnt get out of bed till noon. She whines all the time about how miserable her life is (it's not), and how her grades are falling (she's not studying at all!), and how our mother treat her bad (true, our mom might have some personal issues but I had to deal with that too). I used to take care of her when she was young (we're 11 yrs apart) but I'm getting tired of her drama. I want to be a good sister but I feel that if I'm being sympathetic it will lead to more whining. I want to tell her to get real because it's not that bad, and most of the time when things go wrong it's her fault, but then she gets mad at me for not being supportive, and eventually we get into a screaming match. We used to be close but if things keep up this way we won't talk anymore. I'm not being judgemental but she keeps being lazy and ruins her future and then comes to me to complain about it? I know she's a teen and I might be a little too impatience with her but where do my responsiblities lie? What should I do about her, if anything?
