he broke up with me thursday, said he wanted to still be friends and we are really good friends and talk about alot and have alot in common we'd been going out for a month. I gave him space, never pressured him, and was honestly ok with whatever he did. he worked all the time so we never went out, but it was okay with me, i like his work ethic. somehow I want to tell him I'll wait for him as long as it takes, but i don't want to scare him by saying that. I really do like him and would give him chance after chance if need be. I'm ready to wait surely and loyaly for a few years if need be. hes the kind of guy that wants to be able to support the girl in his life and make a secure life, another reason why i like him so. how do i get across that i'll wait, and should i even wait for so long? he wants to get thru college without being "tied down" My heart feels so sure, but its also sure he don't feel the same way about me. i don't want to wait to find out he ends up with someone else

Well,my brother is 18,and my sister is 14.Im obviously the youngest.I don't really like my brother because he just annoys me,gets on my nerves,and is just mean/rude.He'd do anything to kill me.My sister has her nice days and bad days,but shes usually in the middle.And my parents are cruel sometimes,but their my parents,i love em.It's just they can get on my last nerves.What can i tell my whole family without saying anything mean?

Me and this so called friends know each other for years, but for a while now, his always trying to put me down, always tries to correct me, and everything i say, he tries to prove me wrong even if its a simple, " it might rain today" comment, he will freaking go online and ****, and try to prove it wont.
Not to Mention, i get a feeling that he lacks self confidence, and tries to use me as a punching bag to gain whatever his trying to get back, he betrayed my trust a few times in the past, but came back, crawling, and ran with it in a way, that didn't make it look like it was his fault.

i am getting tired of this, he use to be a decent person, but he changed, what should i do ?

I was on the Internet, researching for my 1st Amendment paper. You know how they say that when you've got writers' block, you have to divert your attention, until something comes back to you? Well, my folks don't believe that and say it's bull. Anyways, as I was saying, I was browsing some questions on Y/A and asking some. My mom came in, pissed off, 'cause she thinks I'm chatting! She thought Y/A was about chatting. You know, the whole format thing? Avatar to the left, then the answer on the right? She thought it was chat! How do I explain that to her! My folks are so closed-minded! And they don't believe the "divert-your-attention-when-you-can't-think" stuff!

My mother, over the years, has taken many things from me. You might say that she is an Indian giver. She even gave my bedroom suit away to my cousin once that she gave me as a hand me down I might add. Over a year or 2 ago I bought her everything you need to learn Spanish. 8 CDs were included. She had only listened to the first one and there is not a scratch on it. All 3 books look brand new. I offered to give it all to a woman I've known for a long time, who loves Spanish, because her husband speaks it well as a second language. When I told her my plans she hid everything. And will not compromise. Am I in the wrong here?

Ok, so I was talking to my husband, and he was talking about this girl he works with, and what she looks like. I was getting a little jealous so I asked what her body type was. I said "Does she look like me?" I was talking about body type. I am 5'2", and 118 lbs, which is a little big because I had a baby 8 months ago. He said " NO, she doesn't look like you. She is thin, and she doesn't have a little pudge", and he made a gesture to my belly.

Ok, so I know I still have a little of my baby fat, but I was sooo Insulted!!! How would you have felt? And for guys, do you think it was ok for him to say that?

One day when I was walking to school, this guy I liked and his friends were sitting on the benches that are in front of the school. As I watched by, my sister told me that one of the guys said to the guy I like "Look who it is" and pointed at me. My question to you is, is this a good or bad thing????
Other people told him I liked him. He usually always stares at me, but he never talks to me. His friends stare at me too so he told them I liked him.

im from california and i recently went on a trip to utah with one of my good guy friends, cuz thats where hes origionaly from an while we were there he admitted to me that he was in love with me i think it kinda freaked me out cuz i wasnt expecting it and also i was getting kinda homesick , i didnt know anyone in utah they were all his freinds.. so for the rest of the trip i became very withdrawn and was pretty much giving him a cold shoulder ...well when it was time for us to go home he told me he had decided he was gonna move back to utah to be with his friends and fam that were there and so i went home on a train and he stayed behind but now that im home i miss him like crazy and i feel really bad about the way i was towards him. Its finally starting to sink in that he isnt gonna be around anymore.....im not really sure what i should do...anyone have a similar story?
