Adults seem to think i'm a pretty girl, but guys my age don't?

Now a days girls and women are becoming more and more beautiful and have awesome bodies... I don't know what's in the water, but you barely see unattractive people these days, especially on TV!! So younger people expect more then adults that grew up with a different look. Adults also see beauty in other ways then younger people. I'm sure you're gorgeous!

I went through that fase too. I think that an adult can see what kind of person you will become , but boys your age may just be after sex and what's in now and not the future. Basically they are immature and need to develop more before they know what they want.

It happens to me too! I never understood it! They tell you your pretty and ask if you have a boyfriend but guys your age don't think you are.
If you are not a popular girl sometimes that causes it! Also the guys might just be looking for someone that will have sex with them.
Its hard to say! I never really knew but these were my ideas!

Adults always tell children they are pretty or beautiful. Maybe you are talking the wrong guys?

adults have different ways of pretty. Adults think pretty is elegant. Guys think pretty it well, HOT!!!!

The guys who are your age are shallow and immature. Sometimes they might actually think you are gorgeous and be afraid that you would not want to talk to them because guys your age are also insecure. Don't let it bother you to much.

it is because guys your age don't realize how pretty you are they just want someone that is easy and that they know they can get and they have to have a body. Stupid Huh??

Its hard to say. Maybe Adults find your mature personality attractive where younger guys find it intimidating.
There is a lot to consider when you say someone is attractive. Looks, attitude, personality, humor.

because adults have to say that think about would you get more upset if an adult or guy said you were ugly (if their guy adults.......they're probably just perverted)

adults are always nice to younger kids because they know how hard it was to go through your age. and don't worry you will probably get prettier.
