Rejection hurts & made you look/feel stupid. Deep down you think that you need a someone else to look after you & "make you happy," you want her back in your life because you're scared to be alone. You have feelings for her as why else would you put so much time & effort just to play a few mind games. If she did such unfavorable things to you then why are YOU having to earn HER trust?
If you really wanted to play mind games then you wouldn't be so predictable
