i was just wondering--- do you think that the boy should ask the girl out and be in charge of everything like planning and paying for dates? some people think girls can do just as much as boys can, but i kinda think that boys should be the ones to be strong enough to ask the girls out. am i right in thinking this?

My husband and i have been arguing a lot lately over the stupidest things....like...... why didn't u turn the computer screen off? why didn't you turn the lights out? (i mean name calling and all).
I'm to the point where im thinking about leaving him.
He said we should go to counseling BUT i don't think another person is gonna help us get along.
If two people love each other do u think they should have to go to counseling to learn how to get along?
Even if this person "help us" to get along do u think its a possibility that it will last?
Anyone here who have tried counseling?

So theres this girl in my school, really cute, and i want to date her, there was 2 incidents that proved she liked me, but right now i don't think she likes me anymore. Like 2 times we passed in the hall, locked eyes, and she just smiled at me and i smiled back. (I know bad decision should've talked to her, i figure that out later not during the time) I try to talk to her, but i get simple answers so i have nothing to lead to, so its hard to make small talk with her. And asking a girl out with no conversation is weird. Lately i passed her in the hall, but she just doesn't notice me. O yea the other 2 incidents we were alone passing in the hall, very random. Does she still have interest in me? Just flirty? o yea one more thing im asian, shes white = harder chance for me to get her. Can anyone give me tips to what to talk about? I have alot of things going on in my mind. Many things disturbing to others. ( I won't go into details for fear of offending someone. ) I need a gal-friend to talk to. Someone who shares similar intrests or problems. Trust me when I say, it's pretty intense...sexually. So if you are not comfortable bearing your sexual side, then don't bother. I just need to get some things, weird interests, and fantasies off my chest. My husband would never understand, as close as we are and as much as I love him, this would probably make him look at me differently and that is the last thing I want. If any woman out there is dealing with the same thing and just wants a buddy, let me know. It's hard to tell your closest friends things and never know what they really think of you, or if they are telling anyone else. I've wanted to change my name since i was in pre-school. I've always been made fun of and felt weird... i'm even too embarrassed to say what it is in here because i just hate it so much. I asked my mom if she would take me to get it changed when i turn 18 (i'm 15 now)... and she said yes. She knows how much i hate it. To you it might not sound like a big deal but it literally just makes me depressed, and I never want to go anywhere or go to school because people are going to ask me who i am and i don't want to say it. I don't have a middle name, so i can't use it. I don't want one either. Anyway, i then asked my dad if he would care if i changed my name when i turn 18, and he said he doesnt want me to. I told him that i would be an adult and can legally do it without permission. And he effing said that if i do he wont pay for my college. What the heII??? & He knows my mom doesn't have a lot of money and cant pay for it (they are divorced). What is his problem?!?!?!?!?!?!? I HATE HIM!!!

Last night I totaled my brand new car my parents bought for me, and paid for, including insurance. I am an only child and am 16. I went to a soccer game without telling them I was going and on my way back it was dark and I was driving through a state park and wasn't aware of a curve, I ran off the road and bounced over some wooden railroad tracks and hit a pole. I was also driving a passenger and my parents dont allow me to have anyone in the car. I broke alot of rules, lying to them, having someone in my car, and driving not as safe as I should. I have never been grounded in my life until now and I dont know what to do. It's messing up my parents financial situation plus they have zero trust towards me now. I feel like total crap. I dont know what to say to them to express how sorry I am, how much I want to be cool with them again, and how much I'm willing to never ever ever do that again. Not to mention this accident happened on my mom's birthday :( I just dont know what to do.

My boyfriend is 24 years old. He still lives with his mother (we're in new york. getting an apartment out here is nearly impossible unless you have a super great job like a doctor or a lawyer)

His MUCH younger siblings (10 and 17 aka mommy's favorites) talk to him like he's a piece of ****. And the worst part is, his mother allows it !

She puts 2 of her 4 kids up on pedestals. The other 2 (my boyfriend and his younger brother, 12) get treated like **** daily for no apparent reason.

they're blamed for everything and it's so obvious that his mother plays "favorites" with her kids that the neighbors know about it and they never even stepped foot in the house!

I think what she's doing is emotionally abusive towards my boyfriend and his younger brother.
Also they're the only two out of the four who grind their teeth at night (unreleased tension ?)

I can't take this anymore!
Please somebody agree that this isn't right to do to somebody no matter the age.

My friend & her husband got married & it lasted 3 months. HE wanted a big wedding (??) so HER family dished out $8,000. Before that, SHE paid $600 in cash (unfortunately) on HIS DUI. She has a 3-year old son from a previous marriage. Mind you, they are only 21 years old...but that is besides the point.

Present...
He left her one day while she was at work because he said "she nags too much." All he wanted to do was drink all night & not call home and check in like a responsible significant other. She cooked supper and catered to him on the couch on a daily basis; he had it made. He disrespected her and he has an anger problem. He claims he doesn't love her, he never did, and he didn't even have enough respect to call her and tell her why he left. NOW she is stuck with all the bills (rent and utilities) even though his name is on the lease. He says he will "stay married for 30 years" if he has too to avoid lawyers and legal fees. Is my friend entitled to justice or should she give up?

A friend of mine gave me an inviation to her wedding which is next weekend. Short notice, it is the same day as alot of Halloween parties that I have already been invited to. I was planning on going party hopping so I could make everyone happy, now I get this invite and its gonna ruin my plans.

She is pregnant and I don't want to upset her but what should I do. The wedding is in early afternoon and the reception follows right after, so would it be rude if I like left the reception super early and didn't even eat?

Do you look down on her, do you respcet her less? Does she look like she's not a strong person to you? What are you thinking if you see a person like this that has a hard time saving money, and sometimes finds herself going into the negative on her bank account?
