It is okay, i am still here - i just changed my name to this one....
OK so i was just kidding, sorry - look you can email anyone you want unless you have an email address that is made with your real name and you have your home address and phone number on it then there is nothing they can do but email you back. Getting to know each other on the web is the wave of the future, but should you ever consider meeting up real time that is when you have to be very careful. By the time you have had your first in person meeting you should have talked on the phone and cammed with each other just to know you are both for real.
If he liked you he will still like you when you do email him. and again if it doesn't work out, I have email too!

People keep saying don't meet anyone off of the internet because they could be crazy or whatever, but the fact is the people on the internet are the same exact people you'll meet on the street. You should exercise caution when meeting anyone new. Just be safe however you meet someone.

It probably wouldn't hurt to pop him an e-mail, but be cautious. The hard part about the internet is that anyone can be anybody and you'd never know. Go for it see what happens, but don't offer up a lot of personal information and watch for anything that makes you uncomfortable or sets off your red flags!

It is not a good idea, there are alot of evil people out there. Anyone can fake pictures, talk really nice, whatever on the internet. Do not try to meet with anyone on the internet.

Ronloves, I think that you made a good choice. You don't know this fella and he may be quite witty, bright and intelligent on line. But who knows or cares for that matter what he is like in real life. YA is used as a place to get others opinions on various topics and should not be used as a social network and/or dating service.

E-mail is pretty safe, isn't it?
If you like him and you want to know more about him, I can't think of a safer way.
Maybe if you wear rubber gloves while you type the e-mail, you'll feel even safer? LOL!
Have fun and don't be too paranoid to enjoy life a little...or a LOT.

yeah. try again. just use ur YA screen name. I'm like u in this reguard. My screen name's not real(as u can tell), and I don't look like my avatar. I only give out my name when I'm ready, or someone makes a case which makes sense to me, and I do trust them in keeping it private. IT's all about comfort.

Try but be cautious. Don't meet him not unless its in a crowd no matter how sweet and nice he sounds. You just described half the predators out there in sci-space.

OMG, are you that desperate?
Atleast go to Match.com ..that atleast has more legitamit people.
Or how about go out and meet a man in person? There are plenty of strangers (and potential creeps) out there too.
It's all a matter of opinion.
Don't waste your time on Internet dating.
