It seems as though just about everyone in their early 20's plans to get married eventually. But the divorce rate is 50 percent. And once a couple starts a family, then it's constant stress and responsibility. I'm 26 and I'm not planning to ever get married or have kids and I'm happy about that. I love the idea of being free and spending my free time relaxing at home or traveling abroad, rather than changing pooped diapers and helping with homework.

So, are people really as happy once they get married as they thought they would be or do many feel trapped and wish they were still single with no kids?

My ex-boyfriend dumped me a little after we had sex. I had gone away for a week and when I came back he avoided me. Finally he answered his phone and said it was over. Ofcourse I was mad. I had given my virginity to the guy. Also I thought he loved me, which is something Im not capable of saying to any boyfriend of mine currently(because of that). But that was a few months ago, and we have the same friends and school, ect. I don't hate him anymore, and I don't think he hates me. But we still don't talk to each other or anything like that. Its just really woerd for me considering my 2 best friends and all of my other ones are friends with him (because of me[ironic]). My best friend just asked me a few moments ago, "Why can't you be friends? Its wierd for me." I explained I was willing and had been for a while. I just don't care about him anymore is all. My hearts all healed and has forgotten him. But i need to be fix this for my friends. Help.

Its been 8 months since my ex dumped me, and admitadlly i think about him quite alot, i don't know why but i think about what happened when we were together, he was my first more serious boyfriend and i really cared about him, i didn't sleep with him but we did everything else together, thats not something i have done with another guy before, all the memories to do with that often come into my head, is it true when you have had a sexual relationship with someone that you become attatched? because i think it brought us closer?! and now i can't get over it!

To be more specific...songs about breaking up with him because he doesn't love you as much as you love him. And you see the relationship going nowhere (no future together), so you break up because you don't want to waste either of yours time. It's one of those tough love isn't enough situations.

They speak so you can't hear them, in some undetectable language, and then say they are sick of repeating themselves, coz we get annoyed when we can't hear them.!

It is in response to the Question posed by Sexy Grandmother below, in this Section.
Why Girls are so nagging?? They won’t allow you to break air in peace, or to smoke, or to drink, or to watch adult movies.
Digging noses or scratching armpits is a manifestation of or individual liberty, as it is MY body. Why the Girls do not understand that?
BOYS, do you think the World will be a better place to live in had our girls be rational and non-obsessive in their behaviour??

I recently suggested to a guy that I shared a more than a friend relationship with for us 2 be friends and nothing more. I only suggested this cause we couldn't seem to get along. I really didn't want to, but I thought that it might be for the best. I didn't want us to end up hating each other and not ever speaking again. I mean, I would rather have him in my life as a friend than as nothing at all.My mind told me things aren't going to get better. However, my heart was telling me to tell him "Let's work it out, because I love you so much". He knows that I care, and I know that he cares, but we have never just looked each other in the face and said the words "I love you". Well, it has been two weeks since our agreement, and I still can't get him off my mind. It's so hard cause, we go to the same college. Whenever we see each other, we say hi. Sometimes he will make a crazy comment. I'll roll my eyes in a playful way and say "wuteva". My heart is smiling the whole time. Then we go on.

I was with my ex for a short time, i ended lying to him and losing him. After that he forgave me and we became friends and we'd hang out and chill. This past april, i found out he was engaged to his first girlfriend which they were to gether for 6 years before me. And i decided to brake off our friendship because i just had stronger feelings that i suspected. Well they broke up and he is single now and working full time and going to school full time and he has told me repreatedly that he does not want to be in a relationship because he has no time. I finally told him that i am in love with him and he gave me the same response, lets just be friends and see what happens. Yesterday he calls me and said he ex took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. I was hurt and devasted and he said i was reacting overboard. He told me **** happens, that im taking it worst than both of them, but i am in love with him. I dont think he understands. What should i do, i feel helpless.

We've been dating for a year and 2 months now and everyone other month or so he tells me he imagines himself being single. He imagines that he won't be held back from his music or going to grad school. But i really don't think i'm holding him back from any of that....in fact i've encouraged him to continue to work at both. I don't know if it's typical for men to want to break up and be single every once in a while or if REALLY wants to end it, but is afraid to hurt me. We talked about it yesterday and he told me it was just thoughts, and he really wants to be with me..... it just feels like this happens alot. Any advice?

Say perhaps that a couple was intending to get divorced and the mother then moved out of state to be near her family with the child, (against the father's wishes but the father is constantly moving due to being in the military) would this be legeal or would this be considered kidnapping?

He must Always and ONLY be available & accountable to YOU; His eyes and mind are yours to control and he must NEVER look at or think about another female...including his mother; Always share his deepest feelings with you but KEEP his personal opinions to himself; He may only hang out with his friends that YOU approve of and ALWAYS check in with you where ever he is.

If he objects to any of these rules, he's a jerk and is possibly / PROBABLY already cheating.

After 23 years of marriage he has decided he does not want to be married any more. At first he had no complaints against me just needed freedom. Of course now he has some but whatever. For the last 2.5 months he has said he wanted to continue our physical relationship after the divorce (yes sex) have all our holidays and family vacations together and also wants us to have family dinners just like before. The thing is, is that he has been abusive (verbal and physical) so I know that I needed a change. But last week some major things happened with him (now he says he wishes he loved me as much as he loves his sister) and then I end up calling him and just sounding pathetic like I have to have HIM. Second, what is he doing with still wanting to do so much together and continue our lives like usual?? Of course it is the things he calls the shots on. Because he went out of state with one child and lied about it and did not ask the other to go. What am I missing? or am I just needing to heal
