She had a good reason not to thank him. He agreed to pick her up and drive her someplace before a certain time. He was given an hour's notice. An hour and a half went by and he still hadn't left home. By the time he got her there, it was too late. Why would he expect her to thank him? He even admitted to her that he didn't try very hard.

Up until the age of 12 I had a good childhood. It wasn't until I moved in with my dad and his new wife I had problems. I was pretty much a carefree kid until I was molested by my older-step brother. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, but I really do hate this person, and I want to know if I should take revenge on him. I'm 25 and pretty much had low-self esteem since 12, do you think it would be terrible for me to take revenge? Everyday I feel like crap, and all my relationships have been affected while this person doesn't acknowledge anything wrong. I just can't forgive myself until I make his life misearable too. btw, in middle school and high school this person spread rumours behind my back, and stole all my friends. I know revenge is petty but this person deserves much worse. And I don't believe in God, so pretty much what is done is done. Thanks for the help!

OK, I know this 30y/o guy (whom I had a little crush on till i learned some of the following info I am a little unsure and concerned due to my following question)
So, His ex gf was 20 y.o. Since then he has been seen going out with a 18 y/o BUT HE IS 29-soon to be 30 in 4 months!! Is this normal?
WHY do some 30 y/o men want/are attracted to girls that are so much younger than them- a 10 year age swing? Is it because they know these girls are naive or is it some sort of perversion? I am just turned 25 and I guess he could possibly consider me "Too old" for him anyways! This comes off as a little creepy/red flaggish to me.
Don't guys that age normally tend to date girls within at least a couple of years-5 years max within their age? I mean the maturity level , priorities and lives are at way different points in a 20 y/o girls VS. a 30 y/o, dontcha' think?!!?

I am in mad love with my girlfriend and I want to marry her. The problem is that I think proposing is stupid and childish. I am the matron of honor and planing a bachelorette party, one of the things I am doing is making sashes for the bride and the party goers. My ex-husband keeps saying and writing in e-mails that I am a rebel and do not do things on a timely basis to show commitment.

We were thinking of reuniting and I would have had to empty out my items in storage, close my bank account, ship my car and book a ticket per him.

He does not want any of my things left in the state that I live. He is insecure and feels that I will leave him if I do.

I make plans to go back - arrange to donate my items, book tickets and then change my mind.

I feel sad because maybe if I would work with my ex-husband, things would work have worked out.

Then, when I think of the life that I lived with him - constantly walking on eggshells because he was verbally abusive and controlling, I feel scared to step back into life with him.

Maybe the problem is me and I am not committed enough?

My 8 sister has selective mutism, meaning she has trouble talking to other people. She keeps her head down at school, wont talk to any of her "friends". She gets physically sick if she is forced to talk. She barely talks to anyone in our family, not including her own brother. She keeps her head bowed and just barely whispers in my ear and I have to relay her messages. It also causes her to have extreme anger issues because she wants to talk to people, but she just can't. I feel bad for her and understand why she gets so angry, but she hits me, throws things at me, and has stabbed me with pencils and tried to smother me with a pillow. I am 14, and know I am much stronger than her, and feel bad even laying a finger on her because I understand why she has the outburts. I just get so frustrated because I feel like I get forgotten about sometimes. Both her and my brother have had counseling, both for different reasons, and always have something going on with them.

I have been married for 6 1/2 years and my attraction for my wife has diminished over the last 3 years. I am a self proclaimed "breast man". I like looking at women with larger, fuller breasts, not HUGE, but they are one of the first things I look at on women. My wife does not have small breasts but after 2 children and being 40 years old, things happen to womens bodies that neither the woman or her husband are real happy with. I have broached the subject in years past but mostly in a joking way. Now, I am more serious about it and really would like her to consider it, but I don't know how to say it without sounding mean or shallow. I love her and want to be attracted to her, but it is very difficult. I don't think she has ever considered it and am not sure that she will. I would like to hear from men in a similar situation and women who would tell me what they would say or how they would like this question posed to them in a nice way.

My husband is severely attached to a cat we got awhile back. I really didn't think too much of it when he wanted it, i felt kind of bad for it myself so I told him as long as he could keep up with it, it would be fine. Well its not neutered, and it keeps "marking its territory" by urinating on our things. We can't afford to neuter it and its too late now that he's done it so much, he won't be able to break his habit, so i told him our only option is to give it up. He had a fit and called me cold hearted for suggesting it. But honestly, I would really rather have that cat gone then have to go everywhere smelling like cat piss, I'm a server and i have been getting some dirty looks for it lately and lower tips. When i come home, the stench is so bad (he does it everyday) that it hurts my stomach. I even threw him outside one day, and he's been an inside cat since he was born. And my husband said if i did it again he would kick me out. I really don't know what to do here??

There's a new kid at school and basically she's getting mixed feedback from everyone else. She seems nice but she's a bit odd. For example she's got a tattoo and she's kind of weird looking. Well weird looking to an American teenager. She's very like reddish tan and tall. Her hair's like down to her knees and this reddish brown color. She's got big blue eyes and these thick lips. She sounds like she has an (English) accent but I'm not sure because she's soft spoken. In my school, the closest thing we to an "exotic" person is someone from out of state.
