This guy e-mailed me on MySpace, asking to get to know me better & he was trying to get fresh with me, but he told me to NOT request him as a friend.

I think he must be cheating on his woman that he already has. I just deleted his message.

He doesn't want you to request him as a friend because, more than likely, he is a scammer. Did he tell you where he was from or where he currently was? If he said he was currently in Nigeria on a construction job or something, then he was a scammer.

There are over 50% of the people on myspace who contact others, only to use them in a scam. It's a proven fact. There is a site that has pictures of these scammers. I bet 1,000 to 1 that his picture is listed. I know that every male (over 30 of them) who contacted me from myspace have been scammers. That was when I had only been on myspace for 1 week. Their pictures were listed on the scam site. They steal pictures from agencies and try to lure unsuspecting men and women in to their scam.

yuck guys like that are TERRIBLE.

I had a group I belonged to (still do). It used to be fun until this CREEPY guy emailed me saying he wanted to "get to know" me and that he didn't want me for "sex" blah blah. So I deleted him and blocked him, and he created a new account to harrass me, talking about how he was in the same group. I was so madddddd!!!!!!! I never told my friend, the group moderator, but this guy was so terrible. I may email the group moderator now even though it's been several months. I thought I'd come across the wrong way.

What a player.

You should report it as abuse on myspace (its in that section for contacting myspace) so that he can't do that again.
Because...(usually)
Once a player, always a player.

Good luck and find a guy actually worth your time because u could do better than that!

Let him know what a retard he is.
Message him back and let him know your not stupid or he might do this to another girl. Send him friend requests and if he denys it send another and another and another !
He doesn't want you to send him a request because it would mess up his gamme
