hi - im a senior in high school and i was wondering-

does child support end when i graduate high school this year, or can I go to court and make my father pay for my college too?

Some people i have talked to say its not possible and then some others say that it depends on the state (illinois btw...)

Hey, my ex an i are close friends we still are into each other. i didnt get to see him before he left for costa rica and he will be gone for a week with his dad. i left him a messege saying sorry i missed him before he left. then about four days later i left another saying that the thursday, after he comes back we should hang out and i missed him! should i call him again n leave a messege? or wait n see if he calls me when he gets bak? i always crowded him and i want him to chase me instead....

I'm reposting this question a little differently. So this guy I met at a party last weekend is really fantastic. We talk everyday now and he seems to want to know every detail about me. We tell each other any random fact about ourselves we can think about, good and bad. We are having a lot of fun, just talking. Funny thing is at the beginning we both mentioned that we're not looking for a serious relationship due to recent break ups, but it seems to me like that is where we are headed. He lives across state and we've already talked about visiting each other again soon. Would he be asking me so many questions about myself and trying so hard to get to know me if he didn't want something serious?? He wouldn't go through all of this trouble to get to know me if he were just interested in some booty would he? Any opinions? Oh, and any suggestions about making a long distance relationship work??

well, my husband is getting worser and worser about the cleanliness. today he told me, not politely asking, to not leave the shoes inside the front door. first of all, we have a small as apt and he thinks it's his castle or some sort and he the king. he said that i'm a dirty person. no, i'm not dirty but i admit, i'm neither a pig nor a clean freak. it gets to the point where I don't care what he says anymore. i just simply ignore him and go about my things. pretending that i'm deaf and not hearing a word from his mouth. so, i told him if you worry about the clean then go clean it yourself. how do handle a guy like him? i'm running out of ideas here.

We have been seeing each other for about two months... and yes, its early, but we have been pretty intense.

We are adults, and we both have our stories, so the feeling isnt false.

But earlier this week, he took my hand and said "I'm in love with you, you know that right?"

I am legally seperated and have already filed for divorce. My ex recently lost his job, and the child support order goes before the judge this week. Will they order him to pay what he was making at his last job? He was there for about 10 years. I imagine that I will continue to receive nothing until he finds employment. Is that correct?

Did anyone noticed that there is love in the air of yahoo answers? I came across 3 couples flirting with each other, being friendly by answering only their particular questions and indirectly asking questions. They are waiting for the particular person to answer it. my father always wanted me to stay in the military and when I got shot and was sent home from Vietnam he said "what's the matter? you could only take one bullet before crying home to mama?" when I showed him my purple heart he threw it away(I got it out the garbage) and called me a quitter. I just want to be good enough for my father... I was never good enough for him(he was a colonel in the army. retired afrer 31 years of service.) He always said that I should have died in the military like my brother. Even when I was growing up I wasn't good enough. Whenever I made a joke he would give me a beating. I have been seeing the same man for over 2 years. We have traveled together but not lived in the same house....
