I'm reposting this question a little differently. So this guy I met at a party last weekend is really fantastic. We talk everyday now and he seems to want to know every detail about me. We tell each other any random fact about ourselves we can think about, good and bad. We are having a lot of fun, just talking. Funny thing is at the beginning we both mentioned that we're not looking for a serious relationship due to recent break ups, but it seems to me like that is where we are headed. He lives across state and we've already talked about visiting each other again soon. Would he be asking me so many questions about myself and trying so hard to get to know me if he didn't want something serious?? He wouldn't go through all of this trouble to get to know me if he were just interested in some booty would he? Any opinions? Oh, and any suggestions about making a long distance relationship work??

Enjoy it. I find that the best relationships are those that don't start with any intentions. At this point, you don't know if he would spend this much time just for, as you put it, "some booty". Some men might. Hopefully, that is not him. As for making a long distance relationship work. It is important to have regular communication. You have to talk as if you are together. Share your days' activities, tell each other about your friends. One advantage of a ldr is that you usually spend a lot of time talking about serious and meaningful topics, because you don't have the diversion of daily dates. Good luck!

It sounds like he def wants to get to know you better. Are you ready for a new relationship? If you are not sure about how he is feeling just ask him. Tell him you are getting vibes things might be headed a certain direction and you don't want to be misconstruing them. Be honest and open to the answer you might get.

just stay friends until u get to know him. it is hard to manage a long distance relationship and one of you is going to have to relocate. that is something u don't want not right now, because u are still healing from Ur previous relationship. don't jump to fast things will fall in there place.. be careful on who u are allowing into Ur life from far, far, far away...
