We have been seeing each other for about two months... and yes, its early, but we have been pretty intense.
We are adults, and we both have our stories, so the feeling isnt false.
But earlier this week, he took my hand and said "I'm in love with you, you know that right?"
And every since then he hasnt been as attentive, hasnt called as much... seems to be slightly busier. But that lovestruck look is still on his face when I see him.
Im confused. Why does it seem like he is pulling away?
did he freak himself out?
help please

Maybe it was how you reacted. Maybe something you said, or a facial expression you made. If you reacted negative in any way he could think that you don't feel the same way, there is no worse feeling!

Either he's not sure whether the level of feeling's the same.. or very possibly, there's something that he's hiding. Talk to him and make sure things are alright. I actually have similar thoughts as CJs. I think he did something wrong that he's not telling you.Ask him why he is keeping a distance. Good luck!

it may have nothing to do with you. if something is going wrong in his own life he might just not want to tell you and he may think that if he tells you won't love him anymore. maybe he screwed up at work or something, or maybe it has something to do with his family. since he just told you he loved you he may think that if he tells you something is wrong he might just be scared about what you'll say back.
or there is the other option... he has slept with another girl and feels really really bad about it and he still looks at you like he loves you, and he probably does but he knows what he did and is keeping away from you.
those are 2 possibilities.

Well, when he said that he was in love with you, did you say the same thing back to him?
If you didn't, he might be pulling away from you because he doesn't know if you return the feelings.

what was your reply when he said 'he was in love with you'...... maybe he thinks you dont feel the same way... he might think that he scared u off by saying that he is in love with u

he probably likes someone else and you guys lost your spark. he probably wants to break but wants you do it so you wont get hurt........they done this 2 me too and i was like wtf you said you loved me earlier
