I'm 23 and I have almost never had male friends. I have had a lot of issues with dating in the past and I think if I had male friends I could relate better to guys I date.

My problem is that I often feel like males are insensitive and will casually say things that they KNOW will hurt your feelings. (Admittedly, I am a fairly sensitive person but still.) Also, I don't understand how guys think at all and I usually get really frustrated...if I'm just friends with them, if I'm dating them, whatever.

What can I do to get past my issues with guys and be friends with them?

OK, I've been trying to get a divorce from my abusive husband for 6 months. I just went to a child support hearing with my lawyer on Friday and the judge said I am certainly owed support, but she has no jurisdiction because the father is in OK and I'm in FL. She said the interstate unit of the Child Support Enforcement agency is supposed to handle my case. The problem is, they aren't. I opened a case with them almost 11 months ago, and they still haven't given me a file number or attempted to find this deadbeat at all. I've called about it, my lawyer has called about it, and they still haven't pursued the case. The judge said for the lawyer to contact a specific person at Child Support Enforcement and that she'd even meet with that person and the lawyer to find out why they aren't doing their job, and if they aren't going to, the judge said she would enter an order for support. As far as the divorce decree goes, the lawyer says he could get it finalized next week, but he wants

Please let me know what you think. I am getting married in Sept. and I am problems with my wedding colors. I was thinking of having black chair covers with a cranberry sash. Now should my table cloth be black or cranberry? ALso, what about the Napkins. Or should I just do a white chair cover with cranberry sash with a whit table cloth. Give help me!!

that's how she dresses all the time. a lot of women have their thongs sticking out, but that's usally unintentionally. but my mom seems to like it that way....sometimes when she sits somewhere and looks at her back, she doesn't pull her pants back up....no, she grabs her thong at the sides and pulls it higher! and one time, i heard her saying to her sister how her pants have to expose her thong enough when sitting down. she thinks it looks great.

does any of you women do this on purpose too?

Why does a part of me still feel love for my ex? The guy abandoned me and did not speak to me for a year, then expected everything to be alright when he said he was sorry. My 6 year old daughter is always losing books. Books from the school library as well as the public library. She's very well behaved otherwise, but I'd like to remedy the problem. If I thought corporal punishment would help, then I might spank her--but I'm not convinced that it would do much good. I'm leaving that as a last resort. My fiancee and I had dinner with both our families. I thought everything was a bit tense, but didn't think anything "big" was wrong. I call him this morning, and he tells me he is upset about our last gathering--but just didn't want to speak up at dinner.

Although I am an adult, with a great job and a mature attitude (at least I think so...), I value my family's input and opinions. I am very close to my mom, so what she says, I tend to listen very seriously to...I don't always go with her opinion, but I like her input. For instance, my mom personally has reservations about him, but I decided to get engaged anyway.

My fiancee tells me that it is OUR future at stake. He says it's all about us and not about our families. I should always talk to him first...and not with my family. He says I should be independent and make my own decisions (I thought I did...).

Should I back out of this engagement? Is this relationship doomed? What should I do?

I married this virgin girl from Pakistan. We attended the Majjid at the Islamic Society for the last 6 years. My wife had become friends with 2 girls from Jordan who seemed to be very promiscuous. They claim to go to women's outings but I found they went to hotels and met some other members of our Majjid. What is shocking is both my sons have really light skin and have grey eyes. My wife's two friends have a son and a daughter each, almost same ages as my sons and they look like brothers and sisters. I had a DNA analysis on my sons and neither is my genetic son. One of the women who is my wife's girl friends is married to a white boy with blue eyes and blond hair who converted to Islam. About 6 weeks ago he was kicked out of our Majjid for getting a married woman pregnant whose husband complained. I have a feeling he has fathered many children including mine. How do I go about asking for his DNA? He was the guy meeting my wife and the other 2 women in motels for the last 5 years.

When I was younger i dated an older guy. Our parents didn't like our age difference, so we had to hide. It got so hard, we broke up. I met my new bf, who I have been with for 4 yrs. and we have a son. I tried to tell him how confused I am because my ex contacted me again(it's been 2 yrs.) Anyway, my ex told me he loves me and misses me, and called me beautiful. This happened about 3 wks. ago. I told my current bf that I was confused about it and needed time to think. my son went into an empty house and took things that didnt belong to him. the house wasnt occupied so there were no people involved, other than the two boys he was with. he returned everything he took, he knows it was the dumbest thing he has done.....

I have a boyfriend but my neighbor and i have been liking each other for a long time. We were always JUST FRIENDS even though we both wanted to be more. This has been bothering me all day - so I'll just ask the community. My husband's sister has a best friend she's known for almost 20 years. She got married in Tahoe in Nov and had a reception last weekend. It was a small gathering, 50 people which turned into 75 at their home. We were not invited. However my hubby's parents were, and of course his sister and her bf. Now - i invited this girl to my baby shower - her and her mom. I had never met her before, but there was alot of people on my hubby's side invited i never met before. Anyway, that is the sole and only time I met her. My question is - don't you think its rude she didnt invite us to the reception - not even a card announcing the wedding (surely we would've at least sent a gift!) - It is a close & special person to her sister - so why wouldn't she invite us. I think it's rather rude and disrespectful to my hubby. He really doesn't care but once I pointed it out to him - he agreed it was a lil' rude - What would you think/feel?

I have been in a relationship for 2 years and about 8 months ago we started to drift apart, I freaked out and thought they were cheating so I read there email. I found she was telling someone else she had feelings for them but she said she still wanted to be with me. A few months later and I read a few text messages they had been sending back and forth and she said it was just play and she still wanted to be with me. The past week I felt the strain between us grow and as much as I tried to get her to talk to me she kept saying nothing was different, that things have not changed and it must all be in my head.
