I've had a roommate for about 5 months, and we're dating. There's a huge festival where I grew up (about 4 hours away), and my whole family lives there. I want to take him with me, and have him party with me at the festival, but he's expressed that we're not an official couple yet, so he's afraid it's kind of a double-edged sword. He's afraid I'm going to make him meet all of my family, and that makes him nervous. He was fine with meeting my brothers (who are going to visit us here), but I want him to be ok with coming with me to this festival. We've traveled before for concerts and festivals, so I know it's not that he doesn't want to travel with me. How can I make him comfortable enough to come with me?

When life is so, what is good for you may not be good for your partner or friend which do you choose? Like this, to make an omelletee you must break a few eggs, however what is good for you (food to live) is not good for the chicken (Waldo your favourite pet). In such a case which do you choose? i really love my b/f,tell me what love means,whether love is a feeling or a choice...but since we started living together since he visits me for the second time which is much longer than the first time,it seems like a lot of things change.Not about my love for him but in some things. I wonder if how much understanding and patience i would give to him, he is harsh everytime i woke him up,[we are running an internet cafe] for customer transaction he always get mad coz he said one transaction is not worth waking up early,and at the end of the day when our sales is very small he always complain.not only that..i am the one who is doing all the task at home[laundry,cooking except sometimes when he feels to do it,and cleaning the house]i'm also the one going to every places related to the business since i know much of the places here...i'm trying to adjust and understand him more but it seems like it's always like these,i think sometimes that what is use of loving him if i always get hurt.

I have accidently found out that my hubby had been smsing a lady with sweet honey words. I saw purchase receipt of lady hangbags and shoes which I did not receive. I ask him but he denied it and we had a very bad argument. He claimed he didn't cheat on me and that women is only a normal friend. Since then he had not contacted this women. But I later found out that he has been contacting another lady for almost 2 years and had also visited her in her country without my knowledge. When she comes here, he keep her company. Till now, I know there is nothing between him and this lady. Problem is, this lady does not knows that he is married. What do you think will happen in future. Why doesn't my hubby tell her that he is married if there is nothing between them. Will this lady fall for him as they have been exchanging mails quite often. Contents usually expressing concerned for each other. Nothing mention about love. Is there true friendship between opposit sex?

I have been in love with this very sweet Iranian girl for 1 year and recently something just changed in her. She is no more interested in talking about love and life, rather wants to argue with me on our differences. I don't know what to do with her. She avoided me when I asked her via messenger, "why are you so angry with me?", She IMed me saying that she's gotta little homework to do...

As for what started it all was the time when we discovered the highly differing views on our religion. Both of us are shia muslims, but she is a little too extreme and although I am as religious as her, I told her that she buys too much into local media.And that fired her up into fury. She started with a big angered speech saying about things I already know, but I understood she was unable to accept my pro-sunni Islamic beliefs.

This started a round of arguments between her and me. I even apologized yesterday - but she's not ready to forgive me. I am almost certain she will dump me.HELP ME!!! :(

I have a question for the men. Why do it? Why?

EXAMPLE: You hear about a bad business decision that if gone wrong, you would loose everything you own, and have to pay a business partner an outrageous settlement for the rest of their life even if that partner causes the business to fail.

Would you invest in it? Probably not.

Yet and still there are plenty of men putting their financial livelyhood in jepardy. Marriage today has nothing to do about love, it's about money. In any other situation you would be labled a fool and an idiot if you squandered your life away like that.

But when it's love and marriage Women, religion, and society expects you to put yourself in peril in the name of love and children. And If you don't, you're labled as immature. With all the guys getting screwed in court looosing their kids etc, why do it?

Help me, plz! I think I'm about to have a mental break down! 1st off, I'm married and have had 2 affairs. One of them is also married but, unlike me, he has 3 kids(twin 2 y/o boys and a 1 mo old girl). I know we can never be any more than sex partners but, I am so stressed. I feel so sick when I see pics of his wife and kids on his webpage. They all look so happy and clueless and it makes me sick that I am doing this to them and at the same time I get so jealous of wifey and just want to laugh because she has no clue then I start crying and get upset. I know I should stop this affair(it's been going on since last October) but, I hear his voice, see his cute smile, look into his beautiful green eyes and I just go weak. I know this isn't fair to either of our spouses. Hubby and I have a rocky marriage, anyways but, he says him and wifey are very much in love. He just wants a piece of @$$ on the side. How can do this if he is "very much in love"??? Also, how do I get help with my emotions?

My daughter and I have always had a very loving relationship. I always wanted a little girl and when I got one my life revolved around her.
My pregnancy came at a very bad time in my marriage(now divorced) and I think that made us even closer. We did everything together and she was "my number one girl" I did and still do love her more than anything in the world.
I have tried to allow her to be part of some of the decision making and wanted her to feel like her opinion counted. Something that was NEVER given to me as a child of a single mom. I also have worked very hard to make sure she has the BEST of everything, even though I support her by myself with no help from her father, who which by the way is back in jail for the 3rd time since I left him. He went downhill quick once I left.

My problem is now that my daughter is 11 she acts as if she is an adult and talks back with disrespect and is hateful to me and non affectionate. I have created a monster& need help.
