Do people prefer going out with someone of the same race? I mean, I'm hispanic, and I have a crush on this really cute Mexican (and of course that means he's also hispanic). So is it normal to be more attracted to someone of the same race?

I read in a magazine that whenever a guy gives you a "cute nickname" like cutie or boo (consistently), he's hooked into you.

Is this true? What about if he calls her this nickname for a while? Does this mean he really admires her?

what is the worst thing imaginal? Being with the same sex!!! After 22 years, you would think I would have known better! I should have listened to my instinct. Thank you--all of of you--for not only your answers, but your support. Now, how do I tell this person's children and family. Plus, the one this person cheated on things they r the only 1.

My Best Friend is in an abusive relationship. About two years ago she was very strong willed and wouldnt allow her ex boyfriends to tell her where to go and what to do and to tell her she couldnt hang out with her friends. She has a new boyfriend that she's been dating for almost two years now. He physically pushes her around and they fight every day. He wont allow her to work and wont allow her to go to school. He tells her if she leaves him that he will kill himself. He has children also that are not hers that she feels responsible for which is one reason she won't leave him. He will do things and then when they fight about those certain things ( things he has said she doesnt like) After being physically abusive towards her he then somehow can convince her that those certain things NEVER HAPPENED. I have witnessed this behavior going on and I don't know what to do to help her. She won't help herself and I feel that I'm the only one willing to step up adn say something.

I adopted my ex husbands daughter. He left me and she is living with his mother. Can I sign my rights to his mother? She has lived with his mother since she was atleast 8 months old except for the 3 years she lived with us while we were married. He has custody of her, but she does not live with him and he does not support her.

I have three female cousins, we all share the same last name, and we live in a small town. One just turned 16 and she got pregnant, and the other two are now working at a strip club as strippers. I have people who come up to my father and friends, thinking that I am them, just because I have the same last name.

What should I do to differentiate myself from these girls?

my boyfriend has told me that he'll always love me no matter what. he's said that even if i were to move away, he'd wait for me. he's told me that he wants to get married as soon as possible.

the thing is..
we're both fourteen.
and im not sure if he really means these things.

i mean..
to be honest, i don't think there's any way that he knows FOR SURE that im the one for him when there's so many years ahead of him for dating other girls that could be better to him than me.

but then again, i've heard from several guys that whenever boys say things like this...
they mean it from the heart.

but im not sure.. :/

i dont want to go through something and then get my heart ripped out in the end.

what are your thoughts?

oh and please don't say that im too young to be in love or worrying about these things, i've asked the question, and i'd rather get an answer, not a lecture, please. thank you.

I have women friends for all the wrong reasons. Like Chris Rock says no man sees a woman and says she's so beautiful I want to make her my friend. I make women laugh easily but when it comes to advancing they say your so funny but I just want to be friends. Is it an ugly factor? Of course your friends won't say so to your face, just curious.

If given an ultimatum...who would you choose?
Your wife...who you began a life-which includes your child(ren), a woman you trust your life with, make love to, enjoy days with & can kiss and hold hands with anytime day or night, see your child(ren) anytime with no hassle or visitation schedules, all who love you unconditionally----OR
Your mother, who gave you life, who helps you when you need help, who is probably the only woman you can trust, who will never let you down, and will always be there for you and loves you unconditionally?

I recently ended my engagement because we drifted apart. We had a five year long distance relationship but in the last six months he became too addicted with work and stopped caring about our future.

I am going to take my time.... but how long should I wait to start dating again? what would be appropriate?

My girlfriend is do heart broken, she is married and her husband betrayed her, she was still with him when she met another guy who made her feel love and special, he tell her so many sweet lines and she believed him he was also married, he told her he does not love his wife he feels sister - brother love for her he told her he is in - love with her all of a sudden his wife started getting suspicious of him cheating with her but she had no proof and he started protecting her so much so she cannot find out, he stop staying out late and started going home early my friend hurt so much because he change the things he did with her so she asked him for a time frame when they will be together he told her give him three more years with his wife he will leave her to be with her he wants to make sure his wife is straight and she won't have to worry about bills or nothing but my friend could not accept the three years, so she was more fustrated because she believe it was unfair to her.

I will be 18 when my senior year begins. I don't enjoy living with my parents, at all. They're not abusive, but if they didn't have kids they would be divorced. The whole house is tense, and we have a large family so I feel pressured and like I don't have any privacy. I figure if I get another job now, and work a lot more over the next summer, I could pay for an apartment, or something. Or maybe a wealthier relative could pitch in. I was wondering what everyone's opinion would be on that: move out as soon as I could (what I want) or save the money for college? (My parents are convinced I could get a scholarship because I have fairly good grades and belong to a minority group.)
