Hell yeah! You should definitely call him. Guys like it when girls do those types of things.
It takes the pressure off them and if it works out you both have bragging rights.
You for being the bold one and him for getting a bold girl like you. In guy's terms "my girl is the shite"

Ok first it depends on what kind of move you are thinking of making. Do not be to forward and ask him out on a date he will think you are easy or he will be very embarrassed if he is not into you and very uncomfortable trying to think of something to say.
First flirt with him see if he seams interested in you.
Then if he does you can ask him if he would like to get a cup of coffee sometime.
That works because friends can get coffee so there is no pressure and you can talk over coffee.

I called this guy up once and asked him if he wanted to get a cup of coffee he said why I said so we can talk. We met at the coffee house got the coffees and headed to a table. So a little while into our conversation I asked if the girl who answered the phone was his daughter and he said no that was my wife. I was the embarrassed one and told him I was so sorry I though he was signal and started to leave he said Deb where are you going we are just having coffee and talking and hey his wife knew so I staid. We talked about a lot of things my exhusband and his wife, work everything I may not have gotten a date out of it but I had a good time and made a new friend.

It definitely helps to get a clue every once in a while. Say "Hey we should go out sometime." Or something to that effect. You shouldn't wait. That is the problem a lot of couples have. They don't communicate. Be a little more open and upfront. Maybe he'll get the hint. Good luck! After reading some other responses I had to add something. Don't be to easy. I mean make the move but make him do his part as well. If he doesn't get the hint he probably isn't worth going out with

Guys like anything a girl does, but if a girl makes the first move thats even better, that removes the fear of rejection, as well as lets the guy know that your intererested. I would make the frist move.

Goodluck!

Wait, dont listen to the guys...they sure do like it when you are all over them. But guess what they will soon get tired of it and take advantage of you..because they know you are all over them.Let them make the move, let them know you are hard to get, a lady and respect yourself.Trust me for the first time...b4 relationships starts, let him make the move. When you both of you get into the relationship and you trust eachother and close with eachother. You can be making the first move...you know what i mean....good luck..listen to my advice.Im talking from experience.did it with 3 guys b4 they all did not take me for granted.

From experience you should let the guy make the first move. Wait till you run into him again.......and flirt, see if he picks up on your signals. As you do not know if he is into you yet!

At this rate, it will either take him a long time to ask you out or he won't at all because he's such a wimp. No offence. But yea, make the first move if you really do like him all that much.

Vo.

Why not make the first move... You will defintely know if he is interested and that is better knowing that sitting/standing around wondering if he is interested... Remember some guys are bashful and slow because they don't want to get rejected.

depends on the guy, but there is a lot of shy guys out there who prefer aggressive women...on the other hand some guys equate aggressive with easy. Make it obvious you like him, maybe some heavy flirting and lots of eye contact...if he makes a dumb joke do the classic "I like you laugh" if hes smart he should get the idea and maybe help things along
