I have been with my bf for many years. He's very non-confrontational, and a people pleaser (as long as it doesn't deal with confrontation, lol)
Well his family of course knew we were together when we were younger, 16 - 20 years old, but we broke up. To this day they think we are still broken up and I'm history... but we didn't really break up for long and got back together. Long story short, his mom and his grandma hate me and they say bad things about me when they visit and see his roommates (his roommates told me about what they say about me).
So basically we have been hiding our relationship from them because he's afraid of what they'll do to him or what they'll say if they find out. I seriously never did anything to them so I don't know why they hate me. =(
But I am tired of sneaking around and it's beginning to control our relationship now that we're getting to the point of wanting to move in together. I can't hide forever!

My boyfriend and I have been together just over 3 months and about a month ago I was pregnant and suffered a painful miscarriage. We were not sure if were ready for a baby and were still deciding when it happened. My parents didnt want me to have it however his mum did. The thing is no matter what decision or outcome my fiance has stuck by me through out this whole situation and I love him so very much. In my past relationships I have been hurt emotionally and physically and now I have found someone who loves me for me and makes me so happy..i didnt think the world had people like him anymore. The dilemma I have is I have told my two best friends about the engangment however not my parents...I found out after the proposal that my parents wants me to date a doctor or a lawyer and think that I can do better than my fiance. I know they want what is best for me but I am happy however I dont want to disappoint my parents or lose my fiance...any advice?

when your your young and and know everything there is not too many problems to deal with, there is always time and the future is too far to see but what if your 55 and something from long keeps tugging at you heart strings. Of course there is no chance of a reunion or any thing like that she is happly married and has 2 grown children. I am married and have 2 grown children and a grand child. Really weird huh? the pain is real though. what to do .....

At the end of the 3rd Quarter my daughter got a C+ in English. As a father, I wasn't too happy about this. But I was understanding, as it was still her first year of High School, and she went to a academically tough Catholic School. We talked about it (and I remember she wanted a Nintendo Wii). So I made a deal with her, get an A- or higher for English for the 4th quarter, and I'd buy her a Wii. So for the last quarter, she studied so hard. She re-read stories and books. She would even stay in her school uniform because she didn't want to waste "studying time." I'd even see her in her school uniform on Friday Nights reading a book for an upcoming test. She would even put time for studying on Saturdays and Sundays. After all this, she only got a B+. She was so sad, but her teacher told us she put the most effort out of anyone. And when I look at it a B+ at a Catholic School (91.7%) is an A- at a public school. So what should I do? Do you think I should get it for her? I think she deserves it, but would breaking the deal make me a bad father?

My mom always takes her stupid anger out on me all the time. She thinks I'm a stupid baby and she always acts like I'm from Mars or some other planet. If I put my input into something, she'll look at me like I'm crazy like wtf....and when she gets mad at my dad or other ppl, she'll TOTALLY take ot out on ME and say I'm just like them. Sometimes, she makes me feel really bad about myself and doesn't give me credit for anything GOOD I do, but then again, nothing I do is GOOD in her book. Then, when she gets mad at me, she'll totally ignore me and say "lalalalalala" if I try to talk. I try to get out the freakin' house, but she doesn't like any of my friends......she also lets my family tease me....like they tease me about my breakouts and it makes me feel sooo bad and then everybody just says I'll grow out of it.....and yesterday, I was going outside to skate, and she said I looked like a clown b/c I had eyeliner on....she said it VERY loud so like the whole neighborhood could here....

i am an adult (27). i was in an mentally abusive relationship which ended 4.5 years ago. i have a new relationship and have never been happier. but i kick in my sleep. it doesn't wake me up but wakes up my boyfriend. i want to stop but i don't know what is causing me to do it?? therefore i can't stop it

My son is 3 months old and his father and i are in the process of seperating ( we are not married ) What do i have to do to get custody...what kind are there....what do they mean. Okay, so my bff Lexi her dog died about 2 hours ago.
Her dog Gus was, 12 and Lexi is 11 so she has had him her whole life.
I told her if she needs to call me she can because she said in her email she can't stop crying, but I didn't actually think she would call me because she's so busy hugging her Mom and crying.
But then she called, and I talked to her for a little then she had to go eat. And she's going to call me back in about an hour.
So I don't have any advice, and I need some help, I love her she's my best friend and I need to help her.

How would you react to your spouse if they went to the store to buy some thing you asked them to buy. They think the bought the right thing, they come home and it turns out to be the wrong thing. My boyfriend and I went to a restauraunt for dinner last night, and we both ordered desserts. So we were enjoying our desserts when this woman sitting at the table next to us caught my boyfriend's eye, and she asked him what he was having, or something like that. And then she looked right at me, looked at what I was having, and said, "Looks like you're going to have to work out later tonight!" I felt she had no business making a remark like that, so I didn't reply and turned back around to face my boyfriend.

Was she implying that I'm fat and that I shouldn't be having dessert? I don't think I am because I usually wear size 0 to 2, but then again I am short.

I cooked shrimp and he ate them The shrimp head smell after they sit out. I was going to sleep and when he was leaving i asked him to take the trash out. How is that being lazy? for exsample, my fiance is into school and am not - i hate school- i have a decent job -
i mean is that something that you would hate ?
i mean i totally encourage him to go back to school, but i just dont have a desire to get any kind of degree is that bad ?
i like artsy stuff, like theatre and playing the violin, i used to be into acting a lot - i just didnt know if maybe i was not inspiring him enough ?? he is currently unemployed so im the one bring in home the income , which i dont mind, because he was soppurting me , when i didnt have a job -

the man i love is on leave from his deployment from iraq and he is in san diego with his son. he hasn't spoke to me for three days ever since his leave. i wanna call him but I dont wanna bother him and his son. He is divorced and is living with his sister. I miss him but I do not want to annoy him at the same time. What should I do?
