I like someone who tells it like it is, but sometimes there is a price to pay for that.

Theres this girl that i think is really hot at my school. Id like to get to know her better so here's what I'm going to do: I know what class she is in second period so i'm going to go to the class and ask someone in there to get her(its an art class so theres always people walking around not sitting in desks working) Im going to ask this person to tell her to come out in the hall and ill introduce myself. If you are a girl what would you think if someone did this to you (in high school)? How would this make you feel? (Keeping in mind we have never met before but our eyes always meet and I notice that she stares at me when i walk by)

My husband has relapsed after almost 10 years of sobriety. When I thought back to his relapse, I realized that it was shortly after I had gone out with friends to a football game and had drinks. (I don't drink at home). Is this my fault? Do I have to live completely alcohol free? He always told me that it does not bother him, but I think maybe he was lying. I never drank during the first few years of his sobriety, but I guess I thought after this long it was ok. Any advice?

Not the typical "he left me, I still love him - can I get him back" question...

We've been together for a year and a half, and I'm nearing 30, and wanted to get married... one night last week I started feeling anxious and told him that if he wasn't ready to marry me I was going to break up with him. It was a fleeting feeling and immediately after I said it I felt bad (because we'd already agreed to talk about marriage once we'd been together for 2 years) He said he wasn't ready yet, so I went to a hotel the next day, saying I couldn't wait.

I didn't really want to leave him, and I called him that within hours of leaving. I asked to come home and apologized for giving him an ultimatum. He took me back, but has since been distant, unsure of his feelings and said he doesn't know if it will work out. He wants to spend a week apart to get some space. I'm ok with that, but I want to show him I still love him and that he can trust me again. How can I regain his confidence?

i am married and love a married man. He says he loves me very much and cant live without me. he is 42 years old and has also a kid. I am 29 years old and have 2 kids. But at the same time he does nothing to leave her wife inspite of fact that i am ready for divorcing any time. But every time i am asking the question abouy your future he biases from the question and tries to convince me with beautiful words that he really loves me. He cant live her because her wife is respectable woman with good career opportunites and she is 35 years old. What shall i do? i love him so much. we are together secretly about 6 months.

I met this guy on an interracial site I joined years ago. We began talking in December and became fast friends. By January we decided we wanted to meet and we did and all went well. I told my parents that I met a guy online...didn't go well. However, they allowed me to pick him up from the airport. Only thing was that I had to go out in groups...great idea to me. I also wanted them to meet him so they would realize that he's a good guy, however, they met him and don't like him. They say he's only a tech guy in the Air Force, working on engines and since I graduated with a degree, he's not good enough. They don't believe he is taking classes in the military. They say he's too young, though we're both the same age. And they also say he has poor speech though I thought it was just obvious that he was nervous...who wouldn't be. I like this guy....he was even trying to move to be nearer to be since he'll be eligible to transfer soon. What can I do? Any advice?

I got on a question today and couldn't beleive other people had ex-wifes' almost like mine I am taking " It " ( as I refer to her in private back to court for custody ) We went to the temporary hearing and I got custody of my 13 year old. I am still trying to get my 7 year old and have had my 16 year old from the start. Have any of you had luck with this and what can you tell me that will help. I don't want to keep her from my boys' but she will not compromise and it's tearing up my 7 year old and myself. I don't understand why she is so concerned about trying to make me continue to pay her child support. I always paid it and am current. But in the temporary hearing the judge ordered that I no longer pay her anything. I saw her in the hall and she was balling. At the time I thought she was afraid of losing custody of our 7 year old. But when I offered to split custody and possesion 50/50 she said hell no so I now have to fight for full custody which will limit her time if not for the$

What are some good, creative prizes to give to both party-attendees and brides during bridal shower games? The prize for each game will include something for the winner and something for the bride. Not big stuff, just little prizes, please.

My B/friend is what most Fathers would like their daughters to bring home. He is well educated,(An accountant in the top management team of his company)respectful, well mannered, tall, handsome and never been married before. But not my father.I'm 28yrs and my b/friend is 36yrs. My family and I have been in America for 15years now and i thought my father has left his African thinking but i just found out that's not true. My father believes in bridal price which my b/friend is willing to pay though it's against his American culture.

My mother approves of my b/friend but my father is the other half that has to approve the marriage.

My fathers reasons for saying NO are: (1) his of a different race (2) his older than me (3) his American culture clashes with ours. I told my dad we are in America though, but he doesn't care.

I love my b/friend and he is very disappointed and hurt that my father rejected him. Should i go against my father's wishes?

I can't imagine myself with anyone else, and I know he's the one for me. He asked me to marry him a few months ago. I've told him that I wanted to wait until marriage for sex. He used to respect that and he surprisingly told me that he would be okay with that. that sex didn't matter now. but recently he's been bringing it up more and more. He says he doesn't know how much longer he can wait. So my question is, do i surrender my beliefs and give up my one-time gift for him, as I intended to do anyway, or do i wait until marriage. I don't expect him to love me more if we do have sex. but he gave me the bs excuse that it would bring us closer.

My Miad of Honour Just had a nice shower for me, she did a great job. She also asked the other Birdemaides for money and my Aunt who had also had a shower for me was asked by the MOH to bring food. IS this ok? Should my MOH have told me she hated her dress, and that the shoes look horrid? The other girls love the dress. Should the MOH go to the Stagette?
