The shower I threw my friend was "travel" themed, and we gave out mini photo albums (like $2 a piece at a craft store), foreign chocolates and cookies (we found them cheap at Marshalls), little luggage tags, travel sized toiletries, etc. People thought they were a hoot! Have fun with it!

Have you looked at your local dollar store? They usually have alot of cute little items that are perfect for small gifts! I'm not sure where you live, but in Michigan, our dollar stores have everything from bath salts to books to kitchen wear and nic naks. You might just find some good stuff, and you will not spend very much which is always helpfull with wedding stuff!
Worth checking out!

i agree you can get very creative at a dollar store. candles and bath gels are good for the atendees gifts, now for the bride-to-be; you can get very creative! you can give thong undies, condoms, lubes, etc- or you can get very creative with feather boas, fishnet hose, and other 'toys' will work, and then you can put a little note/poem about what the item is for. it really depends on how "dirty" you want things to get and how far in the gutter your mind can go. but i'm telling you- you will be amazed at what dollar stores carry- and they are not all the same so go to everyone in your town!!

I went to one where the MOH had a paper plate, and when the bride opened your gift, she'd return the bow/attachment to it and you attached it to the paper plate. By the end of presents, there was a "bouquet" of bows that everyone had helped to create and the MOH attached a handle to, and the bride held it when she was doing the wedding rehearsal. Not exactly a game, but I thought it was really cute, and it was during presents. At that same shower, after gifts, we were paired up and given a roll of toilet paper and a few twist ties (like for trash bags, or what comes on bread). One person was the "seamstress" and one was the "model", and we had 5 minutes to fashion a wedding gown, and the bride judged her favorite one. That one was a ton of fun... but not during presents. :) Good luck in your planning and have fun!!

Hi, I had little makeup kits, hair products, shower gels, bath crystals, nail kits, etc at mine.... anything girly is good. A basket of goodies for the bride to pamper herself with is also a good idea.
