What color should the Mother of the Bride wear? Should it be the same theme as the wedding party? Or can it be totally different.

I mean, it happens all the time, correct?

The guy is really hot and has a nice body and he's dark and has great hair and a butt I want to eat my breakfast off of. I would really like to have sex with him. What are the ramifications?

I met my boyfriend 2 and a half months ago online. My friend out in Boston knows him and introduced the 2 of us. We spoke alot on the phone and 3 weeks ago, he came to NY for the first time. We spent 3 beautiful days together. I miss him So much and we are TRYING to make this work.....240 miles away. It will take about a year IF things are meant to work out, for us to be together (re-location). Do you think a long distance relationship can really work? We think it can, but we get SO many "it won't work" responses from friends & family. We WANT this to work tho.....

The other night me and my brother both got in way past our curfew. i knew that meant for me that I'd be getting a spanking. But my parents have said that since my brother is 13 now, as a boy he doesn't need to be spanked anymore. They say that it loses it's effectivness on boys after 13. But they said that girls still benefit from a spanking no matter how old. So last night I got a bare-bottom spanking from my dad and grounded while my younger brother just got sent to his room and grounded. I'm 15 and dad and mom said that as long as I live under their roof, if I mess up, ill still be spanked. I was just wondering if this was normal or fair, or maybe they are right, I mean girls are more emotional, does spanking work on girls better than boys?

There is this guy that I am pretty good friends with, we have so much in common and we are really good friends. We talk and laugh about everything together and he is such a nice guy. I know that he likes me, because we 'accidentally' made out one night and he was saying how he would like to be more than friends. I told him I couldn't do that now because of work (we work together) which is true, but the main reason holding me back is his weight. I know this sounds shallow, but I am a very healthy person, I work out at least 5 times a week, and I really value healthy eating and living and clearly he does not. He is 6'5" 320ish, and I am 5'6'' 125. I don't know what to do.

Hubby and I were married 19 years ago. We had no money at the time so all we bought were very very inexpensive small gold bands for our wedding rings. No engagement ring. No diamonds etc. Well its been almost 20 years! And honestly I feel a little embarassed by it, like people look at it and think we are still poor or he never thought I was worth an upgrade. It just looks really out of place with what other women my age have and I actually dont even wear it anymore because of this. I wear a much prettier ring on that finger usually. Seems to be a problem lately with the hubby as well, he has recently stopped wearing his bc I dont wear mine ( so he says ). Am I being shallow? If I am, how do I get over it?

i got married about a year ago to my high school sweetheart. things were perfect. until a few months ago, it seems like a totally differenet person. i do not know what to do, i try to talk to him and he just won't. he is so mean to me i can't even belive him. i can't tell my friends because their his friends also. and i can't tell my family because they won't understand. i feel i am living a nightmare. everynight i cry myself to sleep, i was never like this. i used to love life and recently i can not even smile. i swear not in a million years i would nave thought my relasionship would be like this. i feel as if he hates me and i have never done anything to hurt him.

We are having my daughter's first birthday party and my mother in law has chosen to go to a friend's daughter's wedding instead. That is not the worst part - We had already discussed/resolved the wedding/party conflict this with her 3 months ago and she said she coming, lying all along, knowing fulll well that she had already booked her tickets in advance. Now she drops the bomb on us a week before the party. She says she never said yes, but rather said "ok" . She said it only matters that she is around on her real birthday, which she won't be because my husband and I are taking out our daughter for a special day as a family. This is not the first time my MIL has dropped us for a better offer. It appears as if the novelty of her granddaughter has worn off. Don't even get me started on what she did before our wedding...Any opinions?

you knew couldnt really afford it? i know i have been guilty of doing things for my boyfriends that are way above my means but, as a persons signaficant other if you noticed this bad habit would you nip it in the butt or continue to let this person dig themselves a hole so they could please you and shower you with nice things? if you have read any of my other questions this refers to the guy that tells me he is"transition dating" well the other night he told me about the other girl ( that has a kid lives with her parents and has a dead end job) that she is buying him a computer & in my head it seems alittle cold-hearted to expect and recieve gifts like this from a person who can barely take care of themselves. am i crazy to think this way? is my inner drama queen coming out?

I've been feeling very unattractive during my pregnancy and as a result I've become slightly depressed. I am now nineteen weeks and the larger breasts are fantastic but my belly sticks out a bit and my rear end is larger. We don't have sex anymore but he can talk about attractive girls at work and how cute they are. I haven't had a compliment in months!

It's like this... truth is I'm lonely as HELL!! No woman to talk to, because i hardly ever see anyone, felt like I lost all my friends because I took to long to finally start actin mature and cool... no one wants to hang out with a goon in high school.... and because of that, I have hardly any friends that actually really have my back when times get hard. I've changed so much and I've become so cool, so people say, but many people think I'm still the same goon I was in school, the people that don't take time to know me, or who I haven't talked to in a long time or don't get to see. I don't wanna tell any of my friends this because I don't want them see how lonely I am, and I don't want them think of me as a real loser and finish lookin at me as a goon. I don't wanna tell any girl this, because obviously she'll see me as a loser and will be turned off. So I almost have no one to talk to. Everyone looks down on me.. even younger people. What did you do when you was in this situation?
