I've had some rocky relationships and I am wondering if it is better for me to take some time off from seeking a relationship. I want a relationship now but maybe because I want it too much it won't happen. How do I deal with this should I keep putting myself out there or take some time off? I'm 25 years old- I have no problem getting dates but I've been in only one serious relationship for a year which was riddled with problems. I had 6 -- 4 or 5 month relationships. And some 1 month relationships. I don't feel a sense of any of them being normal I always tend to feel that they are psycho but I feel that I'm pretty normal. I go to law school and I have my own apartment in New York City. I don't do drugs but I drink a fair amount. I have alot of family issues unresolved. I don't have any male friends. I thank you for any suggestions.

my mom has a real problem. ever since i was little from 5 years old and up, she always wouldn't let me listen to music. i hate rap so i wouldn't listen to that. but she won't let me listen to other songs that are popular now. she won't let me listen to music period. she thinks all songs are evil. is this some kind of disorder? HELP.

This is very strange.. when I was in a doubt that my friend was using me or not.. I have sent posts here and mostly people told me to move on and that she is a user. Now when I realised in a direct way from her that she is using me, I am getting all the answers that says I am wrong and I should talk to her.

Let me say, talking about a problem is not that easy. How can I tell my friend that " I feel ur using me but still I am being there for u bcoz I like to be used by u" I can tell that to her, right?
I feel the best thing is to move on, it will hurt me alot but I just cant be there knowing that I am just an available option to her, she contacts me only when she is bored or needs me.
Today she said when she had nothing to do she thought to call me but then she find something so she didnt call me though she said in a casual way but I felt bad and even I felt for a moment she realised that she came across as user.
I want to avoid her completely, I dont wnt to talk abt the prob.

I was dating her for a year and 1 month her name is raychel. I loved her very much i woke up and fell asleep thinking of her but she started smoking pot and started ditching me all the time for her pothead friends. i miss her so much i don't know hat to do i call her and she doesn't answer does she hate me? why doesn't she act like she misses me? this is the worst feeling i've ever had i can't eat trouble sleepin, etc.

I really like him and he really likes me but he's afraid of getting in trouble...I would NEVER do anything to him like that and he's the first guy i've ever felt this much for. If he wanted to take advantage of me he already could have but he didn't. I have NO IDEA what i should do.

I live in the middle of the uk with family in rented house. Wife prefers to stay in London(south side of uk). However i may be offered a 6 months contract earning good money for the family.

Wife says she cannot live on her own but I cannot find a job locally yet.

Wife says she could live near parents place but does not want to live with them as the is not room to accomodate wife and two kids.

We do not own a house and I want to buy soon. House is cheaper to buy where we are now and the schooling is better but wife is bored and feels this is not the place for her.

I could tell them to follow me to the new location where i work but we may sThe kids school year does not finish till July.

There is knowone who can look after wife and kids and she does not have any friends as we have not been living in this area too long.

We have been talking for a long time and my hair is falling out, well most have already.

Please can someone provide some wordly advice....

My ex girlfriend lets call her "Nicole" accused me of really rotten things (stalking and hacking). Although I was innocent she refused to even listen to me and just assumed that I would do those things. Anyway, Her and I remained friends after breaking up. After these accusations she told me never to contact her again and to stay out of her life. Although it was hard i obliged. Yesterday I did a backup of my phone and the file must have still had her number. I know two people named "nicole" and because I am a dumbass I called her. She picked up and than i realized that i called her by mistake. I hung up without really saying anything. I than sent her a txt message right after saying i did NOT intend to call her. Her response was "you didnt have to hang up on me tho. Please get your number out of ur phone,so i dont get anymore phonecalls." my question is this: why would she pick up? also why did she tell me that i didnt have to hang up? It seems like shes playing games no?

She says its not an affair, but she spends the night at his place once a week, took a vacation to Mexico with him, and had him take our kids camping. She says she's doing this so I can work -since I don't make enough money to support our lifestyle. If I made more money, she wouldn't see him. I know this is not true, since I'm pretty sure my earnings are on the high end of the scale - still, some people make more. Our kids are confused (ages 9 and 10) and see OM as a sort of 'uncle.' I keep asking her to stop but she refuses. She also has an anger management problem and physically lashes out. I don't know what to do. What should I do? I don't think she'll agree to counseling.

I'm 19 and my live-in fiance is 23. He has a 2 year old daughter (whom I love and adore competly) and we are having a son this august. We do our best to be respectful, open and honest, while also remembering to never go to bed upset. A huge rule in my book lol.
