Why do people cheat on their significant others? I'm 16 and my bf cheated on me. His excuse was that he was drunk? I mean really? I've heard that one before!

why is it that people generalize that filipinos esp. filipinas need all their money and are all gold-diggers? That the filipinas can't live without using other people?



i Am a filipina and im starting to be ashamed of what i am because of that stupid perception! I am feeling guilty of my feeling towards my nationality...but is it right? i love my country and my people but somehow some people just can't understand but they kept on coming or having their retirement or living or getting married here in the Phils? why is that?

I`ve been telling her about the guy i like, but she already doesn`t like him, guess why-because he`s short.From that moment on she`s been trying to convince me i`d be better off without him and should stop being nice to hima and talking to him.....and he is a nice guy, things are gettin a bit more serious but i am reluctant to tell her. I know she`s gonna think i am stupid.She thinks there are all these super hot guys around who would like to be with her daughter and doesn`t seem to understand her daughter likes someone else, what do i do with this woman?
and there is also my best friend who gets angry if i don`t tell her all the details,what about her?

My older sister is really stressed this days because her friend and her seperated because of study problems. Her friend was going to travel to another side of the planet. My older sister is also heartbroken because her loyal, and ever faithful boyfriend died in a motorcycle accident. It's been 2 months but she's still hasn't overcome it. I'm worried. She's been crying in her room and she wasn't eating. She's 24. I'm 12. She's studying in a college here in Iloilo City, Philippines. She's studying at JBLCF. A lady that is a good friend of mine introduced me to her son (he is 28yrs I'm 24). I've been talking with him on the phone for a month already (we havent met in person yet...unless you consider webcam to be more personal). Well, I live in NY and right now he lives in Florida. He invited me to go visit him this weekend (he paid for the ticket), we really have a connection and I do see us having something really special.

All I ever did was love him and treat him with respect and made him as happy as possible. He even told me that he thought I was the perfect woman for him. I felt the same about him. But a couple days ago, after his ex pulled some pretty dirty and manipulative things in order to win him back, he finally caved and dumped me for her.
Why would someone do something like that? This girl dumped him so that she could get back with her ex and when her ex didn't want her, she came crying back to him, but he was already with me, by that time. Then she pulled some pretty low-down, dirty, manipulative, irresponsible, and completely immature things in attempt to win him back. And he gave in. Why? Why would he give up the woman who is everything he's ever wanted, to go back to his ex who treated him like he was nothing but a pretty face and a penis? How, even after his family and friends warned him that it was a mistake, would he make a stupid decision like that? Please help me. I'm lost

My best friend always tells me he's going to do things with me & always ends up standing me up at the last minute. The last straw came last Saturday when he was supposed to go to a wedding with me. I called him the night before & reminded him about it. The day of the wedding, I called him & he said he had forgotten & had made plans with his family (stay home, family dinner). We had a 3 year relationship going. but she broke it off about 2 weeks ago. ive lost 13 lbs over it so far and i keep trying to tell her how much i love her but she keeps saying she doesnt want to talk about it. she stated that we were ment to be together. She started hanging out with some new friends from work around 2months ago and she asked me if i wanted to come and hang out and i didnt want to she was upset about it. and everything just went downhill from there. when i ask her if she still loves me on the phone she says she is gunna hang up.

We got married when I was 17 he was 19 and obviously priorities, values, etc were very different for each of us then. I have since straightened up my life and take my 2 children to church with me every week, while he goes snowmobiling or something...while I knew he didn't love church I ALWAYS thought that deep down he knew. That he knew what was right, the he believed in God and Jesus Christ. I see his position as unbelievably ignorant considering he grew up in the church and I find myself COMPLETELY turned off by this. It offends me deeply when he takes the Lord's name in vain or says JC out of context.

Here I am 12 years later looking at my spouse thinking if I were to make a decision now of marriage I would not EVEN consider him.

I am at a total loss here....What do you think?

My ex-bf still contacts me even though HE was the one who ended it and it has been over for one year!!! He was 25, I'm 20 and he was first kiss and bf. We never had sex cuz he knew I wanna save myself for marriage. He even told me he wants to hangout and see me every one in awhile? But why? He contacts me mostly by msn.

So, my girlfriend is leaving for college this August. It's a six hour drive away and I'm staying a year or two at the local college before I transfer to the college she will be attending. She's going to be leaving in May for a few days to attend a freshman get away to learn the traditions and such of colleges, dances will ensue. And once she actually leaves, she be involved in many activities and groups, and since it's Texas A&M they stress involvement. She's around so many people that it has me worried...and I'm not the jealous type. Just the curious. I've tried talking to her about what we will do and where we stand when she leaves, but she gets all evasive and says we will talk about it later. This has me worried. In my view, if she wants our relationship to continue she will say so, not this 'we'll talk later' nonsense. What are your views on what is going on and what should be done?

Been dating for four years, we don't even live together at this point. We break up often (At the longest for three weeks at a time) Usually I break-up with him because he says or does something to piss me off. Sometimes he will say that he will hang out with me the next day and then he will say that he's gonna hang out with his buddy all night when I call him that day. How long is too long to wait? I understand that when you get married that you want everything to be perfectly stable. I hvae talked to him about it and he says I am perfectly commited to you any way and why should we get married when we fight like we do? Which I understand completely.
