HE need a total physical, including testosterone levels. Some men lose testosterone too early, and that brings on all kinds of health hazzards. IF his is low, the doc will prescribe testosterone treatment. DO NOT go the patch route, for it does not work...he may need injections once or twice a week to keep his levels good. Bone loss, heart and circ problems arise when this hormone is too low, and energy levels and body form sink very quickly without this hormone. Testosterone replacement therapy does wonders for me, I am 66, have a very high sex drive, and tons of energy..when I am off the stuff, my energy level sinks through the floor, I have no sex drive, and even if I have sex, it sucks!

It's not the age, it's the person. Some people never have much interest in sex, others are still obsessed way into their old age - and there's everything in between. Certain health problems and medications may contribute to the loss of desire.

I think for myself I will six feet under before I lose interest in sex. It differs for each man and well each mans testosterone
level differs as well. Plus you have to consider he may have other problem like ED meaning erectile dysfunction or he is just simply not interested in it anymore he is 64 but for the last 10yrs wow. I'm only 32 but I do not sense my sexual desire for my wife leaving me anytime soon.

That depends on the man. Does he have any health problems, like physically, emotionally or mentally? Does he smoke? Some men have low, medium, or high sex drives. Everyone is different. Sometimes age can affect a man or men differently..

I'll die the day I lose interest in sex, even though I wont enjoy it later on in life, I'm still going to push myself! lol I just hate the fact that old people do nothing all day but eat, sleep, and watch boring tv without comedy ,action, horror, just plain old shows lol, that may be a stereotype but it sure as hell defines 80% of older folks

Many of the causes of erectile dysfunction are actually psychological. Understand that this is not the same as saying that it’s all in your head, because it’s not. Learn here https://tr.im/R1i0M

Psychological issues can easily lead to a variety of very real physical ailments. If that surprises you, it shouldn’t. Stress can lead to heart disease, so why can’t other psychological issues lead to ED? It’s a pretty common, fairly well understood phenomenon.

Stress is, in fact, one of the leading causes of ED, which makes it a particularly nasty condition (because it also can lead to heart troubles, so it hits you twice). Long before stress kills you though, it will impact your sex life in a major, and entirely negative way.

Never. It's not that we lose interest, it's that about a third of us lose the ability to "do it" around mid-life. There are alternatives that can keep a lady fulfilled, but he may feel too ashamed and embarrassed to try 'em. Be patient, gentle and encouraging. It may take awhile for him to adjust - a guy's ego is a fragile thing.

I'll be 58 next month. My wife and I enjoy a satisfying sex life. My father is 84, and just remarried two years ago. I can't really KNOW, but I do know that he gets Viagra from his doctor, so I assume that he too still enjoys sex.

My boyfriend is 58 and he stopped wanting me 2 years ago. I'm 14 years younger than him and still can't get him in the mood. I catch him jackin' off all the time and I don't know why he doesn't want anything to do with me more than he wants his hand.
