I really like him and he really likes me but he's afraid of getting in trouble...I would NEVER do anything to him like that and he's the first guy i've ever felt this much for. If he wanted to take advantage of me he already could have but he didn't. I have NO IDEA what i should do.

Always these sort of relationships are complicated. Most people don't believe they work, and the guy is always into the relationship for all the wrong reasons. Deep down inside I don't think it's a good idea, but then again if you trust him, then why not? A friend of mine years ago, dated a guy that was 21 when she was 16, and it worked out fine for them. Then again when I was 13, I was asked out by a 19 year old, and immediately said no! It really is up to you, if you trust the guy, and think he is worth it, then go for it. Hope that helps. Just always be careful.

As a 20 year old, I have standards and would never go out with a 16 year old. Its rare that a 16 year old would have the same mind set as a 20 year old and hence will not work out. I'm thinking this guy your after is your typical guy and just likes em young and can't find one his own age. But I do know some one that is 25 going out with a 17 year old, but what can you do I guess.

Well for one, if you have a physical relationship, it's against the law. So if anyone else tells, he'll get in trouble and he could go to jail. I had a girl that liked me like that. She was 16 and I was 21. She hit on me, and I just gave her my number cuz I thought she was at least 18. When I found out she wasn't I told her we really couldn't talk. Would you rather remain friends or see him go to jail. Lot's of people do it, but there's always a chance of someone telling someone else.

Bypass him. He would get into trouble. You have to be 18 to have sex, or it is considered statutory rape. Don't be tempted and stay away from him. You and he are not the same when it comes to age when you are that age range. If you were 20 and he were 24, that would be ok. I would move onto someone closer to your age. Don't tempt things and you won't be getting him into any trouble by letting anything "accidentally" happening. If you got pregnant by accident, then you could not hide that. Be safe and just be friends with him. He is being smart. Hopefully respectful too. You have to be friends first anyway. If it is meant to be between the both of you, what is a couple of years????

Talk to your parents and be honest with them. tell them that you like a guy who is 20 but you are unsure about how they feel about you liking a guy four years older. let them know your concerns and listen to theres. If they think it is ok to date him then its ok but even if they give there permission you should not do anything sexual with him because he could get into alot of trouble. He could end up having to register as a sexual preditor, if that happens he could never live near a school or work with kids. it would tarnish heis record. you have to be completly responsible. I was 14 and dating a 19 year old and we had to be very careful of everything we did so he would not get in trouble. no sex or anthing of that form. If you truly like him and he likes you, you can make things work. introduce him to your parents and get there opinion. be just completly honest with the whole thing and if it is met to be it will work itself out. good luck

Well it is against the law for him to kiss you or have sex with you because he is an adult and your a minor. But just wait till your 18 and then no one can say nothing about what both of you'll do because then you will be an adult. But do anything before that and he will go to jail. And then you won't be able to see him, SO cool off for a couple of years

You are too young to date someone over 18. Do you want him to go to jail?

Depends on how you feel about sex, because chances are, he's going to want it. If you want to keep your virginity then don't be his girlfriend. Sounds like you're too young..
