i asked questions about what others would do if their loved one was incarserated for a lenghthy amount of time and I got alot of nice comments and answers. Thank you for the support it means alot. My ? now is for those who say I am wasting my time or living in a dream world or what have you. I am not saying your opinions are dumb but what makes you feel this way? I guess I dont understand how people can be so quick to give up on someone they claim to love and the fact that divorce is so easily the answer. What happened to honoring your vows? I dont know why it bothers me so much that people dont view marraige the way they used to but it does. I want to understand how people can just give up. Not that it is wrong or right I just cannot understand Can someone explain it to me. I already know that I am waiting for my husband and I have 1000 reasons why. i am just trying to understand other people and why they would do any different. Help me understand please

My Ex girlfriend broke up with me a month. At the time, I was very unhappy with myself and my stressful life. Instead of making the proper changes, I started arguments with her over small things and held on to her dearly: Big mistake

background: we have been lovers for over 2 years and never been friends until now. I love her so much words cannot describe and in some ways, I believe she feels the same
I say this because we still talk twice a week and she's showed me she still care a lot about me; helping me with my finances and asking me if i feel better since i struggle with the separation for the first 2 weeks.

After break up, she wants to be my friend. Shes said "she want us to grow as friends first. If we can get along as friends; then, maybe, we can be together again one day."
Yesterday, we spoke to one another and she was surprised with changes in my life; I am doing things that are making me happy. Do I have a chance? if i do, any advice to improve relations?

I am in the process of divorcing my husband...he's abusive and I left him 9 months ago. But I think the address he gave me was fake, the place he told me he was going to school is made-up, and now his cellphone has been shut off and he won't return any of my emails. His MySpace account says he lives three hours from the city he told me he actually lived in. The divorce papers are in the hands of a process server, but he is not communicating with my lawyer, and my lawyer is not doing a great job of communicating with me, either. I'm afraid they are never going to be able to find him, which is going to make the divorce very difficult (there are two children involved). Is there anything I can do to help look for him so the lawyer won't charge me more and more money? What would you do? Any ideas? HELP!

I'm thinking about telling my husband that he has two choices.
Me and our unborn baby, or never see either of us again.
I sick of waiting around for him to choose what he is going to do and I need to move on or work on our marriage. We are seperated right now, but it seems he still wants to act like a child. I dont want my child to have a father this month and then next month he doesn't want anything to do with it.

What do you think he will choose?
Me and the baby or to be alone, without his family?

I hear alot of married women saying their husbands are not there for them enough emotionally or they don't remember anniverseries or they don't compliment them enough. Well, I'm here to tell you I do the opposite and what is my reward? Being taken advantage of. You see, I do the breakfast in bed, the love notes, help around the house. Not everyday mind you, but, on the days they should count I do. My wife gives none of it back. Does she work hard for the family? yes. Does she appreciate the extra lengths I go to, to make her happy? NO. Oh, she says thank you, or oh how sweet, but, never returns the favors. I don't care what you say, a little recognition by her thoughtful behavior would be nice. It was not always so one sided but for the past few years it has. Well, I'm fed up. I'm young, intelligent and attractive. You women talk about what you want from a guy and when he gives it to you regularly. example: birthadays, anniverseries etc or just a foot massage after a long

How come when a line is crossed in a relationship you cannot ever go back to how things were? what changes? and why would it repeat or be easier to do a second time?

Iam talking about abuse: verbal, physical and mental.

once someone you love insults you or hits you or plays head games, if you forgive them they only do it again.

why is that? is it becuase it is no longer taboo?

Why do guys whistle, honk, stare and other things of that nature? I'm not trying to bash or put down guys. I just want to understand why. Do you get some kinda thrill out of making a girl uncomfortable by staring or whistling.
I don't approve of guys doing it, but I think I understand it's just a guy a thing to do. Just clarify it for me. Don't just say "it's a guy thing", that doesn't help.
In my opinion, it seems stupid. To honk at girl and then floor it down the street? Ooh, Baby, let me run 50 mph to catch you...you must be a dream.

of these questions? Do you realize that we are all real people with real issues? We are asking for good advice and good opinions. i have viewed some answers that are hurtful for no reason at all. Dont get me wrong you are entitled to your opinion but keep in mind each of these issues are important to someone. They dont post these ?s to be ridiculed and intentionally hurt. critism is ok but try constructive rather than destructive. You are supposed to be on here to help not make the person feel like an a##. These are real situations that people are dealing with why cant you try to be kind? I could go into anyone of these questions and make the person feel like crap for being in the situation but that isnt what they posted it for. Most are looking for a good way to handle lifes hard times. And who are some of you to judge anyways? All of us dont live a pampered life where everything goes perfect. I guess what I want to know is how people can be so mean dont you have a conscience?

my man has been completly depressed and distant lately. His comments are getting so mean that it is beginning to wear me down and hurt my feelings. he calls into work a lot and then he complains cause his check is short. when he is at home, he just sits there ALL day long and doesnt do anything at ALL.

well the other night we got into a fight. he screamed horrible things at me, told me i was a bad person, cussed at me and said that no one would ever want me. he even pushed me down on the couch.

My passion for him is totally going away, first it was the depressed attitude, but the way he talked to me the other day I cannot tolerate.

its time to move on i think. how do i break up with out putting myself in danger, or risking him doing something crazy cause he is so depressed?

when i try to talk to him, he finds some way to blame me for the issues/.

I am so sad, we had been talking about a life together...he is all i could ever want except for his bad attitude

Ok so my BF and I have been together now for 6 months and things are alright. The thing that is the problem though as I have had seen this and gone throught it in the past is, In the beginging and wooing stages of my relationships the guy is wonderful, giving, taking me out, little nice things all the way. However once they get comfortable and know that I am so for them and in love with them all that stops? What is the deal ? I know this is concidered the "honeymoon" stage where life is grand and your on cloud nine. I just dont get it though. I am a giver and love to do so all the time weather it is gifts, or tokens of affection. I just tend to get burnt and do not recieve as much as I give nor even get a little back in return. I fell give and take is important. Equality. SO how do I let my BF know this with out blowing his ego or making him think he has to do as much as I do. AND can you explain why you guys tend to do this the slacking off bit? Mature anwsers Please Thank you.

I've been talking to someone interesting for about two months now, but we've never met. He's vaguely mentioned something about wanting to meet in person sometime. He emails once a day, but i'm unsure about whether or not he likes me.

....How do I know if I like him? I look forward to getting his emails, and I always smile a lot when I read them, and we share some fairly interesting conversations. He has several qualities that I really like, but others that I wasn't really looking for....So, how do you know if you share a bond with someone online?

Thanks so much.

I find it odd that when you are'nt with anyone noone seems interested in you.Once you have a boyfriend/girlfriend whatever the case may be.then all of a sudden people are interested in you and want to date you.
ofcourse I am not talking about people knowing that you have a boyfriend/girlfriend or not.
Wondering if when you are in a relationship if something changes in your outward appearence?any one have any thoughts on that?Has anyone ever noticed that?

I fell out with my close female friend-we didn't speak for 4 months-we got too close for comfort, I fell for her,she didn't feel the same.To deal with this,I broke contact-(not the best idea-I know!)

I iniated contact by asking if i can add her as a friend on Facebook.Contact has increased just THIS WEEK via Facebook(SHE INITIATED IT) It's like it used to be!

I invited her to our group roadtrip and she will join us!

I also want to invite my female friend (we're just friends-nothing has happened).

1. Would this be a possible problem???

2.Will my friend (the one where contact has been re-established)think I'm trying to make her jealous by bringing my other friend?

Advice please!

I'M NOT TRYING TO MAKE HER JEALOUS! - she turned me down-LIFE GOES ON!2 others have dropped out, hence inviting my other friend! She wasn't 1st choice!

I feel like he's neglecting me sometimes... he's always too tired or busy. he has very good reasons, he works a lot and he has his band and his house and his college. he is a very active man and i know he loves me very much. but i still feel lonely and i just think it's unfair i always have to do what he wants and change my schedule after his. it's really frustrating, i want to live my own life...so should we women accept this type of situations and what is our limit?
